I remember being on the pich after Munsters 1/4 final ERC win. Had Peter Stringer on me shoulders at one point. Must be some pics of it about somewhere. There was a good few of us on so. The stewards seemed overwhelmed that day, but they knew we meant no harm.

breezer wrote:do you remember that female streaker a few (4? 5?) years ago? She came out of the A&L stand in a pair of Bridget Jones's, ran the full length to the club house end and then stood there as every one watched - had to make a slow walk of shame back to her clothes at the other end. I remember Log just laughing as she walked back!
 I remember that one well, breezer!
The lady who sat behind me snorted; "Well, if I was going to do that sort of thing, at least I'd put me best knickers on!"

I think it's traumatised other would-be streakers.

The only other one I saw at WR was when a group of people were dressed up as dwarves and one decided to flash his 'pickaxe' on the pitch and then he ran back onto the Terraces for cover! It was hilarious to see the stewards trying to find him . The only thing was his mates were a dead giveaway in their getup so he couldn't rejoin them without being discovered!

Oh and there was the time Cocky nearly lost his shorts and pale blue underpants right in front of us. Put me right off my hotdog!

Anyone remember the streaker at Newcastle the day we clinched the first of the four in a row? He stole the bicycle that was on the centre spot as a prize and started riding around the pitch as the stewards chased after him!

i was at one munster match, no idea when or where. there was a group of lads behind me and one of them decided to streak. so he got up undid his trousers and off he went. he of course forgot it is very difficult to run with trousers around your ankles and literally fell face first on the pitch just after stepping on it. most people didnt see him and the stewards just laughed. very very amusing.

and why does it have to be taken as read that any streaker would have to be female? Is it because you men are too chicken or too hairy/repulsive to consider it?
Besides which, any "entertainment" of that kind could put the players off, and we want to encourage them to win stuff, not distract their attention from the game!
