Quite happy to admit that I am one of those you have concerns about Tigers direction after last season's debacle. I fail to see why I shouldn't after we played uninspired rugby and choked on the big occassions.

Sunday was a very pleasant surprise, especially as I rolled along to WR with a heavy heart and non of the usual pre-season optimism. Tigers probably played their best 80 mons of rugby for 2 seasons against a very good side. They showed full on commitment for 80 mins, power at the breakdown and in the tackle, good hands and retention. The signs are very encouraging and if we continue in this vain then we will win silverware this season playing an attractive brand of rugby.
When that happens I will admit I was wrong to have my doubts!
