Ah Orla..... Come on! Haha

In fairness, you're not the only person who thinks that about our Shane (a fellow Meathman don't forget)... But whatever you or anyone else can say about him, he is the Leinster player who doesn't consistantly fluff it when it reall matters. His strike rate for province and country is exceptonal. He has to have the best tries-per-games ratio in the national team, despite his lack of pace.
And.......he did score the Triple Crown winning try in Twickers..... :D

if you need any convincing, Orla will happily bring you up to date.....

That is, of course, until the end of this season.... Can you feel a Leinster Magniers/Heineken double in the air? Don't be put off by that pig flying past your window

and saten has just been seen buying some new ski's. as much as i hate to admit it leinster are not gonna win the magners league and deffinatly not the european cup. and horgan is not a donkey i'd say more like a cart horse. and i also think eo's might be needing to go if he over looks talent like shane jennings there must be some thing worng with him although not a bad thing from a tigers point of view a loss for ireland.

to get back to the thread... Geordan rules!!!

If EOS doesn't pick Shane Jennings in 6N's there will be uproar
and he will simply have to be booted out .

i dont honestly think there will be uproar. i think jennings is a great player and would add a lot to the team, but the back row is one of the few areas that is actually hotly contested. a lot of people in ireland arent aware of how good jennings is and will not be outraged if he isnt played. my opinion is.... there wont be uproar. sorry.

We in Leicester will be very happy for your short sighted coach to omit Shane from the Irish squad.

I also think Shane Jennings is a fantastic rugby player, but I'm sorry guys, unusually Orla is right. Not only will Jennings not be in the 6N squad, but he won't go to the World Cup either. And apart from a few disgruntled Irish fans who watch the GP, not too many people will be disappointed if Shane is left behind. Of the Irish in England currently over-looked by EOS, only the plight of Bob Casey sparks any conversation.

David Wallace and Keith Gleeson will go as specialist no.7s to the WC, and frankly, both are better rugby players than Jennings, so for once I have to agree with EOS here. I'm not the biggest fan of Johnny O'Connor, but it even looks like EOS rates him more highly than Jennings.

He really should bring POC, DOC, MOD and either Bob Casey or Trevor Hogan to the WC.

For once Bill, I have to agree with EOS

Whilst you are both wrong I am delighted. Please make sure he is not in the squad.

He will be very welcome to stay at Welford Road.

PS Might Eddie "One Eye" no pick Geordan either. We would be very happy to keep him at "home"!
