Leicester v Sale - Predictions Please

Post by tigermad »

When this game was announced I could not believe it. Yet come Sunday I will be in the Crumbie Terrace in eager expectation of a cracking game as Leicester aim to lay down a marker for the season ahead. What are your predictions guys?

TIGERS TO ROAR AGAINST SALE

I think it will be close

Could be a last minute convesion/penalty/drop goal that decides the winner, but home advantage will be massive.

22-20 to the Tigers.

Sale to win. Will be close though. No more than 7 points in it.

We really need at least a loosing bonus point out of this.

What we have to do though is play for 80 minutes, not like most games last season, play for 40 and then nearly get caught at the death or play for the last 30 a just scrape a win

I hope that Tigers will win but won't make a prediction.

Chobbsy, I agree with you that Tigers will need to play for 80 minutes.

In any case, the team need to up a gear after the friendlies. And avoid a nightmare like that at Twickers.

Looking forward to the season proper starting, nervous, but glad to get into the routine of going up to WR and hope the Sunday travel is fine.

Fortress Welford  No such place. Anyway it should be called Aylestone Road not Welford Road.

Not being just a hopeful optimist, I can see a Tigers scoring thirty something points and winning by at least fifteen

it was a very disappointing day at Twickers last season mainly cos we never got going at all and Andy Goode had one of those days!! We cannot perform like that at home surely? This is an important game as it will lay down a marker for the season for both teams, with Tigers needing to reforge the fortress reputation. We need to win the home games to be in at the end.

As we were last season when we played Sale at home. It will be a draw.
