don't see why it merits comment. As a moderator, whether voluntary or not, you have a responsibility to the Club to keep aware of anything that might be problematic - no matter what your personal opinion might be.

Moderators, no matter what the forum, have a hell of a time keeping on top of things. Iain has my support and thanks, because it is a pretty thankless task for the most part.

The Barkley story turned into a non-event. Not worth mentioning.

My response would have been no different. It is highly inappropriate and out of order to speculate on anybody's guilt or otherwise unless they have been found guilty. Those users who have used the forum longer may recall that when Steve Booth was found not guilty of a crime I was adament that his guilt wasn't up for discussion. That I locked the thread was to avoid a similar situation, which should not be discussed on the clubs official site.

alright, alright, it was tongue in cheek
