Seems sensible as there is a no smoking ban in all public spaces coming into effect in England during the new season!

Very PC. Don't use your mobile phone in the car and do not exceed the speed limits.

So from your comments Bill W, I assume that you agree with flouting the law! I guess it's OK to go and :censored: a Sale supporter at the first game!

Somewhat bemused about peoples response to "No Smoking"
Following sport, but ready to harm ones self and more importantly, me standing next to you puffing out killer fumes, not to mention our finely tuned players, who have been training to such a high level to entertain you.
Shame on you smokers!!!!!!!
Just look across the road, there is a building that deals with people who have fallen foul of the weed.

Not wanting to get in the way of a good argument ..... but isn't the whole smoking debate redundant now ? Both sides have locked horns regularly on this topic, with pretty much every well rehearsed argument being flogged ... again ..... and ..... again .....

Views are so entrenched, on both sides, that I doubt that anyone has ever changed their stance on the topic (on this forum).

The club policy is decided ... so be it.

P.S. It would be great to hear any original takes on this argument !

Surely PC as in politically Correct refers to peoples attitudes towards certain groups nationalitys religions or genders. Whereas smoking, speeding & use of mobile phones would be more health related. So it should be Healthily correct not pollitically correct if anything. Anyway if smoking is so clever. Howcome that smokers have to be informed of a smoking ban by notices all over the ground, an article in the programme & continual repeated tannoy announcements. How many times have you smokers had to say to your kids, 'Why do I have to tell you things more than once?' We love you all really, just getting our own back for years of enforced passive smoking. Anyway whats all this about 'puffs' in the toilet? Not PC I know' but I'm not

According to the missus, someone had a crafty cigarette in the ladies last night!
I got no problems with people smoking, I used to smoke myself until I gave up
three years ago. The club should have set aside an area for those who wished to have a smoke away from the majortiy of supporters!

Another wealth warning... buying a drink @ WR can seriously damage your wallet!
