Advice for Rob Andrew
In taking up the poisoned chalice I would offer Rob the best of luck and suggest on September 2nd 2007 he:
1. Fires Andy Robinson - promoting John Wellls
2. Pensions off Larry and Tindall
3. Makes a public announcement that he is not in favour of central contracts
What advice would others offer?

Totally agree. And he was getting into a rut at Newcastle.stevetelcom2000 wrote:There you go. How perceptive of me... TBH he is on a hiding to nothing, but will get very well paid for it.
This will be his entry into the corridors of the 57 BOF's.
I cannot help but wonder how much freedom of maneuver he will be given by F. Baron to negotiate with the clubs.

My advice to Andrew:
Do your best in a thankless, seemingly pointless, undefined role. Then take the money, build a nest egg, then retire. It seems like a shed load of free money for nothing, and he would have had to have been a fool not to take the job. I'd do it for the money, who wouldn't, it's a no lose situation.

"Try not. Do, or do not... There is no try" ..... Yoda was obviously a Bath fan
1. drop some of the old guys (dayglo for 1, joe worsley, grewcock to start with)
2. use some more of our young guys that have some balls like melons!!!!
3. tell frank baron to go jump and dont end up his puppet
4. enjoy the fact your least liked club is gona be the backbone of you side for years to come. (tigers for anyone who didt get it)

That sounds like good advice Big John.
Bingham Tiger - the role is not undefined - he is responsible for everything to do with England Internationals at all levels including negotiating with the clubs.
The only bit that is not clear is to what extent his decisions have to be ratified by the RFU (i.e. Thomas, Baron and Beaumont)
My guess is that that will be the make or break point - the resignation issue - and the point at which another breakaway is likely.

Hi guys - sorry to interrupt but I'm going for a major interview tomorrow for a
sports photographer and recently made up a blog of my rugby images - can you give
me some honest feedback......obviously some other time as I don't want to be rude.
Thanks.
