mauger to come to tigers afterwc?

an eventfull time was spent on the bus home from work, looking at that WAP thinkingon my phone, and apparently, it says tigers arecourting new zealand and crusaders 12 mauger. who apparently seems keen to come over after the world cup..

this was rejected as "just another rumour" by Pat Howard according to article in Leicester Mercury

Maybe so Jan, but his agent seems to think there is a possibility and as Iain said on the other thread there maybe "no smoke without fire".

I think its more of a rumour now but who knows what will happen after the next World Cup?

I think Pat doesn't want to get people's hopes up to maybe be flattened and also he doesn't know what Aaron's Mauger's intentions and so probably doesn't know anymore then us anyway.

Pat and his wife are expecting their third child this week, so he's probably got a lot of more pressing things on his mind!
