Some great play today should give us some confidence at the start of the new season. Shame about the Final.

Tom Varndell's defence leaves an open corridor on the wing. If he doesn't work at it he would be better to specialise in 200m sprints for the Olympics. He is a liability defence-wise, and gets targetted every time.

Good showing by the Tigers today. Unfortunately you are never going to win a 7s tournament with some players who cant or wont tackle. Nice to see Seru running around free from injury and Henry too. Cant wait for the Sale game!

echo that!!! sometimes he played more like a wing rather than a lock/ back row!! and also echo that em! wasnt nice to see him in a quins shirt though :( but if he went to anyone at least it was quins as they're my nearest team!

Typical Tigers. Can't win when it matters. Doesn't bode well for the rest of the season.

Yet again tackling was atrocious. My son has just come back from a 3 day training course with RFU qualified coaches and the tackling in their games was better than what I saw from Tigers today.

Maybe Pat would do well and send the professionals on this course before the season starts, then HOPEFULLY they'll be up to scratch in that department before the start of the campaign.

Once again g you choose to sit at home and pick out the bits that suit another moaning post.

Doesn't bode well for this season? Do me a favour! I was there today, we looked very sharp all day, Varndell was finishing well and Tom Croft looks an absolute revelation. Can I remind you that Sevens is massively different to Fifteen a side and that this won't have an iota of bearing on the new season.

Why can't you look at the day as a whole and realise that getting to the final in a Sevens tournament is good? If you had nothing to complain about you'd only sit there and complain about having nothing to complain about!

As normal with you getting to a final is a well done for you.

Have you forgotten that when you get their you are supposed to WIN.
