Charlie has been tried at 12 before and it has not worked. if anyone goes at 12 it is wilko. he has good distribution skills, and should be fine. it would take a lot of pressure off charlie at 12 as well.

A fit and in-form JW is far better than CH. If JW is fit and in-form then he should play 10 and, unfortunately for him, CH should be dropped. No point in playing CH at 12 just because he's playing well, and no point shoe-horning him into a position he never really plays just to keep him in the team. By the time RWC 2007 comes round, I think we'll see:

9 - Bemand
10 - JW
11 - Varndell/Cueto
12 - Abbott
13 - Tait
14 - Simpson-Daniel/Voyce
15 - Lewsey

Yep - I could see Noon coming in for Tait, now you mention it. Not sure about Cohen though - I thought he looked a bit laboured towards the end of last season.

varndells one for the future his attacking skills are brilliant (apart from when he kicks :) ) but his defence at the moment lets him down he always seems to be scared of tackling

yay just made it to top cat status wats the next one

bemand wont make the world cup - he isnt even in the 47 - when some injured players are. varndell wont make it - voyce or simpson daniel wont either and abbot definately wont.

the blatant choice is:

9.Richards
10.Wilko
11.Robinson
12.Farrell
13.tindall - hipkiss if injured
14.Strettle
15.Cueto

it isnt what id choose - but its almost defo what will be chosen.
as for wilkinson never playing for england again? he played in the 6 nations and the SA tour - he is the best fly half england have - its only logical he continues.
