Yeah, I do think it's lifted the pressure, we are not just a fallen giant, we're the champions.
Borthwick and the players have proven their potential so that pressure has lifted. However most people seeing the likes of Ford, Genge and Moroni leaving will be thinking we'll be a few positions lower next year.
Nobody rates us like the Tigers team of the turn of the millennium where back to back titles would be expected. Next season is a free hit so long as we still make the playoffs.

Obviously our start to the season was huge for us so maybe if we have a bad start we may feel pressure, but right now we have a youthful squad full of proven winners which is a great platform IMO, we're not a team who "could" do big things, we've shown we can, and that lifts pressure and allows players to do their bit.

No longer will people wonder if Sinfield can do it in Union, nobody questions if Tom Harrison is experienced enough to coach our 1st team scrum etc etc

Just seen this article, we're 3rd favourites behind Sarries and Chiefs for next season, just ahead of Quins and Sale...
I don't think the bookmakers have fully priced in that Exeter are not the team they were a couple of season ago, Gloucester at 14/1 seem the best dark horse bet for me out of the bunch.

I think we only announced Moroni due to falcons announcement soon.

My guess is Socino hasn’t got a team lined up yet

Cole and Heyes are not the norm in terms of work rate for a tighthead prop, their contributions are off the charts.

Hurd is a year younger than Heyes so still time for him to come through and develop into a Prem level prop.
I must admit I haven’t noticed Heyes’ contributions in the loose. But they must be half-decent given that he’s gone to Australia (and Collier hasn’t).

I also didn’t realise that Hurd is younger than Heyes. That certainly changes my expectations of him.

22 tackles Vs Chiefs from Heyes. Most backrows would be boasting about a stat like that, from a prop it's practically indecent. Heyes doesn't do the flash stuff but he does a lot of stuff.

Collier perhaps hasn't gone to Australia (IMHO) as his work rate around the pitch isn't a patch on Heyes or Schickerling. Was he found out against the BaaBaas? Quite possibly. Great in the scrum, Finn Russell-esque at times.

Loose ends, that could be a lot of things...

Though suspect most likely being late is working out the plan for covering Dolly during his rehab.
Does loose ends also hint at loose head prop arrival/ departure additional to Cronin arrival or am I getting too Columbo on this!?

I think both he and Murimurivalu need more game time which is why I’m not convinced by the extra few months extension for Nadolo. The both of them are powerful runners and imo could do a decent job.
