Yes they do.. a few seasons ago it was tigers concede, tigers concede! At least we've started the scoring bit! 8 tries in 2 matches.. :smt023

Barrett has never played in front of the Shed though…

80 seconds is a long time to run down.. kick was the right option for me just poor execution. Way too far.. we tried to run 20 seconds off the clock at the end and they got straight in over the ball and won the penalty. Ahh.. it matters not.. 5 points to 2, that'll do :smt023

It’s obvious you kick the ball there you don’t :censored: around in your own half every team or player would have done the same
We were on halfway and it was a box kick to the edge of their 22. Surely if you're going to kick you set it up for a deeper kick?
Deeper runs the risk of it going dead youngs kick was only a couple of metres from being a good kick
Fair enough. Suffice to say my heart was in my mouth at that point and I think I would've preferred another couple of phases to knock a few more seconds off the clock and a few beats off my heart rate. But then again I happily confess to not knowing that much about the game - the last time I actually played was 36 years ago in the 4th year at Gartree (the High School, not the prison). Think the laws have changed a few times since then...
Still, it turned out ok I guess?!

We got the win, needless to say that Borthwick is no mug, and himself and the whole team will be aware of things we need to improve on.

Good experience for the youngs un playing away at a full Kingsholm for the first time as well, that and the nature of the new pitch meant it was always going to be a high-scoring, frantic game in my opinion.

Last season it took us 4 Prem games to score 10 tries and get 10 points.
Also have to go back to feb 2018 for our last back to back TBP wins

Barrett’s kicking from the tea is far from world class-

Barrett is also not the most reliable goal kicker either. A key reason why Mo'unga was preferred at the world cup.

Gloucester were edgier than Exeter and we were less slick than last week. Last week, almost everything we tried came off. This week more 50/50. Shame George missed some points but pleased with the attitude again. Defence looks willing and we seem less afraid to try things.
Saracens next week and they have had a week off!

Nadolo was great going forward with the ball but not with out it, like a supertanker is hard to stop great in a straight line but struggles to turn around. Thought Potter was industrious and worked hard for his try. Ford and Youngs were not at their very best and Dan Kelly was missing in action in defence as was JVP. Still a BP win at Glos is a thing of beauty but we need to raise our game back to the Exeter standard to get any change out of Sarries.
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity

I thought we scored five against Exeter and four against Gloucester.

A win is a win. Bonus points have been rarer than hen's teeth in recent years so that is good too. Lots of things to work on before next week.
