Re: Tigers at Saints

Please correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the second time this season we've stuck 30 points on the Stains? :smt005 :smt005 :smt005 :smt005 :smt005

Re: Glaws v Chiefs

Surely it's not beyond the realms of feasibility to turn all the mics down or, before the match starts, make a blanket announcement that the following may contain some strong language. The latter seems acceptable for other TV programmes so why not do it for sports programmes?

Re: Glaws v Chiefs

During last night's match, I heard the commentator twice apologise for "any bad language you may have just heard". Neither milday nor myself heard anything - did any of you? If the TV companies don't want us to hear such language, then the ref's mike shouldn't be live all the time. With th...

Rich, could you please use tinyurl on the link in your initial post? It's current length is causing the page to distend to the right.

UPDATE: Thanks mate. :smt023

Re: Thinking positive for the final

I shall be propped up on a bar stool at O'Reilly's in Amsterdam watching the final. The 14th will be my (and Julian White's) birthday and this long weekend away has been planned for months.

As there's been no mention of it on here so far, perhaps someone who might be interested in parking there could contact Nottingham RFC and find out?

Re: Tickets on Sale from 1130 today Monday 11th

True but assuming that the most expensive seats on Ticketmaster and Tigers are like for like, the Ticketmaster seats with premium are £64.80 whereas most expensive tickets from the club are £65. Pardon? :smt017 Tickets at the club are to be sold at £60, £45 & £35. Ticketmaster has put £4.80, £3...

Agreed Wellstiger. The man on the mike at the Ricoh on Saturday was even starting the Wasps' supporters in the 'Oggi Oggi Oggi' chant. It's a bit sad when you have to have led by the nose by the PA system. I'd like to echo the sentiments regarding our Gallic chums in pink. They are a great bunch and...

Re: European Semi Transport

For anyone who thinking of driving to the match, consider taking the tram from the park and rides at Phoenix Park, Hucknall, Toton Lane and Clifton South According to the timetable, they run every 10 minutes and it's only £3.50 Adult Return, U-15s £2.00, U-5s free or £5.00 for a Group Return (1-2 ad...

Re: Horn helmets

I've no problems with supporters bringing and banging their drums - it was the 'bangra collective'. They started out right in front of us and, for a solid five minutes or so, it was impossible to hear yourself think let alone speak. As I said earlier, more noise doesn't always automatically equate t...
