Re: Croft retires

Sad day but we knew it was coming. Thanks Tom for many wonderful rugby moments for me it was those two tries in Durban for the Lions in 2009 when we were sitting behind the posts where you scored.
Many thanks and best wishes for the next chapter in your career.

Re: Warren Gatland

Have you not seen? After his Lions experience Warren is now looking to abandoned Warrenball and is looking for a creative passing inside centre for Wales. He says he believes Wales may now have the players for a more subtle attacking style!

Re: Brings a tear to the eye....must be a bit Dusty

Had the pleasure of being hosted by Dusty on the Tigers organised trip for the Lions in SA in 2009. Great to see him back I can only assume the reason he chose to leave Tigers has now disappeared or been consigned to a different role. I am sure Dusty will be using his contacts and skill to unearth a...

All booked for Castres - flying into Toulouse from Birmingham and then hiring car. Had to book 3 nights to cover all match times. Hotel 200 yards from Irish Bar :-)

Re: Freddie Burns

Very sad to see Freddie go. He has developed into a real Tiger and is clearly a top bloke. Bath have done well getting a full time Freddie while we have a part time George with his England commitments.

Re: Voting for Awards glitch

Tried to vote for Player of the Year etc, and despite clearing all possible obstacles from my virus/malware list, it tells me it is a duplicate entry. Anyone else had same? I had exactly the same problem. Fixed it by putting in one of my other email addresses. Not sure there are any checks that you...

Re: Again - is it now time to thank Simon Cohen?!

Yes from me - the club has clear problems many of which fall at the CEO's door. I fact I wold far rather SC had gone instead of Cockers. I would have liked to see a new CEO come in and access the situation then decide whether Cockers should go or not. As it is I feel Cockers was actually doing a lot...

Re: Positive Posts only for The Great Cockerill

Very sad to hear the news this morning. I feel we have lost something today that we will find very hard to replace. Cockers was always approachable and a top bloke whenever I spoke with him. I suspect he will remind us how good he is when he lands his next coaching role.
I wish him all the best.

Re: Just a hint of....a forward pass?

I am not aware that the law has changed just the interpretation. Can we please go back to a ball moving forward over the ground being a forward pass regardless of where you put your hands or any other part of your body. TMO can then lay a grid on the pitch and see if the ball went forward from depar...

Re: Warren Gatland Lions Coach.

Terrible Lions coach with no track record of getting the best from the four nations - I am very unhappy with the choice but the no other better candidates. Gatland will show he has learnt nothing if he simply chooses Welsh coaches to pick another Welsh team. However if he selects a coaching team spr...

Re: If the Met-Rx is to be the Holland & Barrett ...

The Crumbie is the Crumbie and does not need developing apart from reducing the sound from the PA speakers which interferes with our conversations at half time.
