Re: Kit Watch
Just seen the kit, after getting all excited I can't believe Kooga are that bad they can even ruin our beloved hoops.. Kits look poorly made and cheap The Kooga range is quite frankly embarrassing and for a club of our size that would potentially sell the most kits/leisurewear/training etc it is no...

Re: A bit of perspective
couldn't agree more Doghashadhisday, over the years I have come to expect a slow start to the season. That mixed with the amount of injuries to our starting 15 and further down, I really don't expect us to be pushing 4th place just yet. At the end of the day you are only as good as your last game :s...

Re: Goldsmith Player of the Month (September)
Has to be Salvi out of the three put up. Youngs had a good first game, but has been poor since, has started kicking aimlessly straight back to the opposition with no one chasing the ball, and hasn't shown captain qualities for me when the going gets tough. Burns has started well for me, not afraid t...

If people want to boo the ref they should do it during the kick

Re: Booing the last kick.
Personally I think the title is wrong, I hope and I am fairly sure that the boo's wasn't aimed towards the kicker, but instead towards the officials. If there were ones that were booing the kicker then this is unacceptable, it wasn't his fault the officials were poor. It wasn't a positive experience...

Re: Tigers v Glaws
On a lighter note, one thing really amused me about the game: Nigel davies complained about the free kick given for feeding, that led to our scrum, and then to the winning penalty. Robson had been blatantly feeding all afternoon (as the crowd were very vocal to point out) - indeed without it their ...

Re: Tigers v London Irish
even so, I fear the worst for this game! Irish have found some form, gained confidence and now with two good wins under their belt. They were unlucky to go home without any points against us a few months back, and had their fair share of chances to win that game. If we dont step up at the weekend , ...

Cockers interview says he think all injuries last night are upto a couple of weeks away, Crane landed on the point of his shoulder so may have just been a jolt.

Re: What is the point of assistant referees?
Some officials dont like too much intervening from their touch judge unless serious. Owens allows the game to flow and so marginal offences are normally forgiven. Also feel that it shows how much trust he has in his helpers, and felt he had very little in them last night! But we didnt loose because ...

Re: Toby Flood v Bath
After the second try he rallied the troops together for a team talk.
I think he also got everyone together when Slater was being treated.
IMO he is the best choice for captain this season in replace of Murphy. The vice captains could learn alot from him.

Re: Ground developement
Cohen explained that it would make sense to start the next stage whilst the world cup was on, which would probably be the club house end. Smart move as explained the world cup would allow for a longer summer break allowing more time to complete the build for the coming season. All is dependant on th...
