Re: Racing Metro Paris at Nottingham

Just a short precision : It is not anymore Racing Metro 92 but Racing 92. Métro withdrew their support I don't know why, perhaps when they realised that they could not fill in a carriage with Racigne supporter and his dog. :smt003 What's the capacity at Nottingham? I know it is featured somewhere on...

Re: Tigers v Stade Team.

Think I read Van Vuren is now here till the end of the season. Cookers did say post match that he needed to look at the scrum closely. Didn't think Harry was as effective in the loose yesterday, and Bateman made some good yards when he came on, also Harry not as good at line out, at least a couple ...

My own high falootin' analysis

Woopteedoo, Tigers ! First and foremost CONGRATULATIONS, in capital letters, for a wonderful performance ! :smt026 :smt026 :smt026 My view of the match, with all my scientific knowledge of rugby, is that there were two teams on the pitch, you see... And only one ball. Had there been two balls, perha...

Re: Tigers v Stade Team.

Wow this is gonna be great anyway, weather says cloudy with sunny spell but I have a dodgy iPhone forecast. Anyone knows better? The BBC is saying sunny intervals, 11-12°C with a ESE wind of around 15mph/24kph (i.e. wind blowing from right to left as you come out of the players' tunnel). Thanks BJ,...

Re: Tigers v Stade Team.

Let's not beat about the bush here. Stade are out of form, have a few players out and playing away from home. Sure we aren't 100% ourselves on the first two but we are in better shape than them and are at home. This should really be a win. Anyone checked the bookies odds/handicap? I can't read odds...

Re: A presentation of the forces in presence

What do you think about your team ZSF? Strongest possible team. Alberts on the bench maybe because he doesn't know yet all the subtleties of pink rugby. I fear very much the Dan Cole / Zhvania encounter. Steyn at 10 : the best possible tackle in this area of the pitch. I am pessimistic but then I a...

Re: A presentation of the forces in presence

What do you think about your team ZSF? Camarra doesn't usually play fullback does he? He replaced Bonneval at the post when the latter broke his ACL in Australia, so he has a quite extensive experience of the job. But he runs the ball almost systematically, and his kicking leaves to be desired. Str...

Re: A presentation of the forces in presence

Working at a client's facility and drooling in advance ahead of the game! Well, let's make it snappy then : Outhalves Morne Steyn (SA) : solid, had a poor spell at the beginning but his commitment was never in question. Won the French title almost single handedly at the end of last season! :smt003 I...

Re: A presentation of the forces in presence

Third row : abundance, there Sergio Parisse (Italy) What a hero ! Great hands, incredible apetite for the ball, can kick. I bet he also can sing opera and juggle with chainsaws. But you know him all too well. Will captain in Welford Rd if not injured (back) Jono Ross (SA) has captained the Bulls, I ...

Re: Stadiums chosen for European Cup semi finals

I can't see why you Tigers would take the trouble of traveling just to see us pink folks beating Toulon in Nice... :smt017 Weather? Casinos? :smt017 Realistically Remy, we're you to play Toulon in Nice how would rate your chances? I frankly don't know... It seems that the on form team are Racing, b...
