Julian White?

I have just seen a photo of Simon Cohen, Dusty Hare, Boris Stankovich and Julian White together visiting a restaurant.

3 members of the club and White. I wonder if they are talking about a role for Julian?

Re: Cipriani

Do you think Cipriani would have performed as well as Ford has this season if you swapped the teams they were playing in? And would Ford have got player of the season if he was in the Gloucester team? No, Cipriani wouldn’t have won player of the year had he been a Tigers player. Ford could easily h...

Re: Welford Road soundtrack

Listening to the likes of Ashton Gate on the TV they have very good DJs and a very good soundtrack, the soundtrack at WR is good, but the songs are not ones that entice the ground too much. For me I’d keep Smoke on the Water, Roar and Shiny Happy People but I would like to see these songs played fr...

Re: Geordie up before the beak...

I have been a season ticket holder since 1984 and have only missed 3 home games in that time. If you think that it is our worst 4-8 you have not been paying attention. When I first started following the Tigers our pack was Dean Richards and we relied totally on our backs to win games so please get ...

I thought it was prerequisite for the hotel going in that the spaces lost would be redistributed elsewhere.
Yes I think it was. If it brings money into the club, then great!

Re: Geordie up before the beak...

Following the seasons poor results, might the BOD use this accusation against Smurf to move him on or over, it would help to save their faces? No Is that your opinion or fact? :smt002 Opinion. Obviously. I never stated it was a fact. If you’re going to pick me up on something that I’ve picked someb...

Re: Geordie up before the beak...

I’d be fine with referees saying this if that’s what they thought. They need to be interviewed after the match first though which I very much doubt they’d agree to. It seems like anybody in rugby can be criticised but refs can’t. Why is that? Because there's a significant portion of the rugby frate...

Re: Geordie up before the beak...

Respect for the referee in rugby is paramount and it is what separates our game from others. Any kind of abuse towards a referee be it verbal or physical should be stamped on severely even if the ref has had a poor game, players and referees will always have poor games and good games but abuse of r...

Re: Geordie up before the beak...

The criticism of match officials is low stuff. Tigers are classier than that. More so coming from a Head Coach who is not very good at what he is paid to do (check results this season). Have some humility and just focus on your own performance and development as a coach. Or let Murphy say what he w...

Re: Geordie up before the beak...

I'm wondering if some of you are missing the point. Constructive criticism is fair, as is putting in a formal complaint, but verbally abusing an official is not. Who remembers when the Youngs boys were abused by disgruntled supporters after the game in the bar, is that now acceptable? I think the t...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 7

We all know what thought thought! Maybe there aren’t younger, cheaper but more importantly, better options available. He's probably going to be an impact sub and if he's not likely to recalled by SA. Unless we're going for a very different looking midfield with Ford/Manu/Mapoe. Would make the signi...

Re: Geordie up before the beak...

The ref was awful. One of, if not the worst performance from a ref I’ve ever seen since I’ve been watching rugby.

If only referees could be replaced at half time when they are having a bad game, like players can.

I would say the same, even if we had won the game.

No names, no packdrill. What? Pack-drill was a punishment given to soldiers in the British Army, requiring them to undertake drill (exercise) in full uniform and carrying a heavy pack. 'No names, no pack-drill' is used to indicate that the names of those who have committed a misdemeanour will not b...
