Re: Sale vs Leicester - 21st February 2020
Obviously I will be at Welford Road and at Sarries but luckily I couldnt get to Sale last night. I thought only a few players really seemed to care last night and the only rugby joy last night was Edinburgh’s win as I am a Richard Cockerill fan, always have been. The worry for all of us is for 2 ye...

Re: Sale vs Leicester - 21st February 2020
Do we have any backs moves we can execute other than through 3/4 sets of hands then kick it away or get turned over? Loops, wrap arounds - anyone remember them? Is that something to do with knitting perhaps? Looks like they have probably spent more time knitting than practising moves and line outs ...

Re: Sale vs Leicester - 21st February 2020
What does it matter? We'll all be here next year, typing away. Hoping against hope there will be one team worse than us so we can genuinely avoid relegation rather than have salvation gifted by a bunch of talented cheats. The game I knew has gone. It's so sad that professionalism has brought us to ...

Re: Sale vs Leicester - 21st February 2020
Win against Wasps and we suddenly were a side transformed? Without our internationals and two back rows injured we were always up against it. So why start an 18 year old at scrum half? Why have a 5:2 split on the bench? Our scrum were out of sorts. On a day like this we should have munched their pa...

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 15th Feb
Tom Youngs gets 4 week ban. Because he's an idiot and deserves it. He's a throwback from the days when a few punches were part and parcel of the game but his sneaky effort hidden beneath a pile of bodies can only be described as petulant and that's one thing that is unacceptable, especially in your...

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 15th Feb
LI like Flats but for me the man who gives the best insight into the game is Ben Kay and I enjoy the forwards v backs interplay between him and Healey. In terms of international games I also like Brian Moore who for me is not one eyed and who is also one of the few pundits who puts his hands up whe...

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 15th Feb
For those carping about Tom Youngs's line-out throwing, yes, there were 5 consecutive linouts that went awry, but he ended up with 12 from 17, so successful the rest of the time, often the precursor in the second half to a decent maul. Not perfect, but not :censored:, especially in those conditions...

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 15th Feb
My concern about White, is that it seems he is already getting himself a reputation for gobbing off at referees. That won't help him, or us as a team. Several times the ref had words with him to calm himself and these things spread around the relatively small circle of officials. Youngs yet again co...

Re: Tigers vs Bristol - 04th January 2020
What is this second half hoodoo? Are we not really fit enough and take some time to wind up again? Whatever it is, it isn't good enough. While I'm here could someone explain something to me. On looking at the table, I noticed we have something called BP. I don't recall that phenomenon, it's signifi...

Re: Tigers vs Bristol - 04th January 2020
Well better than many games I've seen. So far so good, now can they play well for two halves on the same day? I do wonder what happens at half time... I noticed Bristol were cheating right through the second half, they had 15 men on the pitch the whole time but despite that Tigers managed to sneak ...

Re: QUINS VS TIGERS 28TH DEC
Totally agree about the Taufua attitude, it's fantastic. A couple more like him and we'd be safe. If George could learn how to take restarts especially. Quins regained possession on at least 3 occasions, Tigers none.
