Re: Tigers v Castres
If Thompstone is fit then he must be included either in the starting 15 or the squad of 23. I'm convinced that at his best he is of International quality just like his team mate on the other wing Jonny May.

Re: Tigers v Castres
Disagree I think that the top two teams will progress from this group as 18 points has been enough to progress to the last 8 in the last 4 seasons and there are more than one team quite capable of doing this from this group. Lets just hope that Tigers are one of them.

Re: Tigers v Castres
Trendy I mostly agree with you except I would try Williams at No, 8 to give Kalamafoni a rest and bring back Crofty at 6.

Re: 2nd Row
Second Row won't be fixed until Harry Wells is in their permanently whether his partner be Barrow ,Kitchener or Fitzgerald and the line out won't be fixed until Tom Croft is brought back in.

Re: Racing 92 vs. Tigers
Well a bonus point was useful but we really have to go the whole hog next Saturday against Castres, a team out of form whose performances in the Top 14 this season have been pathetic.

Re: City NOT to play Man Utd at home on Christmas eve!
Surely the police must have some say in this? After all having the two main sporting clubs playing on the same day within hours of each other must present them with a logistical nightmare, notwithstanding the fact that it's Christmas eve and one of their busiest days of the year anyway!

Re: Racing 92 vs. Tigers
On his day Kitch is International Class problem is that he hasn't shown any form this season. I too would have gone with Harry Wells at No.5 and am surprised that he's not even in the squad.

Re: Racing 92 vs. Tigers
Yes if Adam Thompsione is fit then he must play as I think he is a class above Malouf, I would still hope that O'Connor would play his namesake at 7 and Tom Croft at 6 with Kalamafoni at 8.

Re: Worcester Warriors
I hope these rumours are untrue. Warriors are a fine community based club with loyal supporters some of whom are good friends of mine,. It is just the kind of club that the premiership needs to survive.

Re: Racing 92 vs. Tigers
Tigers must field their strongest available team this Saturday to hopefully send a message that they won;t be no pushovers in Europe this time around. So I expect both Youngs bros to start and Telousa Veianu back at 15. Sad news about Dominic Ryan but perhaps this is the chance to bring Crofty back ...

Re: London Irish v Tigers
I Like the team as constituted as it gives opportunity whilst resting others. I thought that the acquisition of Dan Tuohy was excellent he's a player I have long admired, and it will be interesting to see if Owen lives up to the hype about him. But once again 5 points are a must so this team has to ...

Re: London Irish v Tigers
I deplore anyone who says that the European competitions are a bit of a sideshow, Anyone who knows anything about the game will tell you that Rugby's profile has never been higher in World sport since the inclusion of 7's rugby into the Olympic programme and that may possibly have never happened unt...

Re: Champions Cup Fixtures
The first two games in the European pool matches must produce positive results then we can go to Munster in December with our tails up. Then perhaps we can get our revenge for the drubbing they meted out to us last season.
