Re: 3G & 4G Pitches - Risk Of Injury?
Oh sorry I got the wrong end of the stick - fully synthetic like Saracens I don't think should be used. Was this on a hybrid like Twickenham then? In which case that's a bit more alarming as as far as I was aware that shouldn't have been able to happen. No, I don't think so. Reading the article sug...

Re: Quality of full match videos
Thanks Smudge. Strangely, I've just been able to quickly check the quality at work (where the internet provider is also Virgin, but the computer is different) and the quality is fine.
I'll try and check with another computer at home and see if my home computer (an iMac) is the issue.

Quality of full match videos
I'm interested to know whether anyone/everyone else sees the same very poor quality videos when watching full match replays on the Premiership Rugby website? Of course, I may have to change a setting somewhere (although I can't see where). And the quality should not be down to either internet speed ...

Re: Aaron Morris banned for 3 weeks & it was a Red Card offe
For me it was the fact that Morris stopped looking at the ball, looked at Thommo jumping, didn't jump himself, continued to move into Thommo who is now in the air, then continue to hold Thommos leg whilst he is in the air. Although I don't think there was any malice, Morris was scared to pull out a...

Re: Aaron Morris banned for 3 weeks & it was a Red Card offe
We've had this before and the officials' typical response is the outcome of the challenge, ie what happened to the 'victim', rather than whether the challenge was in itself reckless (which it clearly was in this case). If the officials applied the same ruling as they do for, say, high tackles (under...

Re: At least Cockers will be in Europe
And Cockers' French is still just about there as witnessed in the 30 minute pre-match (Toulon vs Sale) interview with, I think, the local press.
Ford, on the other hand, looked completely bemused!

I think you'll find that caps have been awarded since time immemorial by schools, clubs AND for international honours.Roly wrote: Technically, he doesn't have a single cap, since 'caps' are awarded for international appearances.

Re: Travelling fans - good spots for grub?
I stand corrected - but presumably it's changed hands since one of the co-owners confirmed in the Mercury: "I can't say too much about the reason but my business partner was told by his doctor he had to slow down for the good of his health. "So reluctantly we decided it was time to sell. &...

Re: Travelling fans - good spots for grub?
Welcome to the Forum. Munster Fans are always welcome at Welford Road. Slug and Lettuce is good for pub grub. As a watering hole Molly O'Gradys is worth a visit for obvious reasons! If you like real ale and Pizza the Criterion is worth a visit. If you like Curries then I am sure other posters will ...

Forum hacked?
This morning I found that I had received nearly 30 emails stating that there was a reply to one or other thread I had previoiusly linked to - all sent at the same time.
This is a concern, presumably nobody actually replied simultaneously to all these threads?

Re: George North stood down from playing
Because the TMO was brought into the situation and the screens showed exactly what could be seen on TV, why do the Saints medics claim not to have the same footage available to them?
