Re: Alex Tuilagi to leave?
As been mentioned by many people it was definitely said on RL that Samaon leaving. Tuilagi has had too many injuries, and has become one dimentional in the scheme of things. Too predictable and goes to ground far too easily. Agree with the Matt Smith and Hamilton better on wings, offer more and both...

Re: Tigers DOR and Coaches.
Who ever we employ can we make it last a bit longer than 31 and 26 weeks please, bit of a laughing stock. We will be like the club at the walkers........new person every three months!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope they leave Cockers in charge until the end of the season for continuity and maybe a bit of consist...

Re: Tigers DOR and Coaches.
Could be a thought, if Cozza = New Deano then we can expect years of triumphs in League, HC etc............................can't wait!!!!!!
Then one bad season and he'd be gone????????

Re: Tigers DOR and Coaches.
That would put the cat amongst the pigeons!!!!!
They would ban the whole club knowing what the ERC and RFU think of us.

Re: Aaron Mauger
Best back we have at present perhaps with the exception of GM, send him back? get real. By comparison many of the others are one dimensional. He has not always looked at his best, but I think he carries the rest. Get a quality 10 who plays regularily to feed him, oh we had one but now he's doing th...

Re: Tom Varndell
I feel Varndell has lost his way due to many things: a) Never gets the ball in hand with space b) Blamed for poor tackling when team collectively were poor c) When in development side didn't look interested d) Didn't seem to be Meyers type of player I agree with you that hope he does weel for Saxons...

Re: will greenwood and austin healey
I agree we need a new direction to get the backs moving but I feel that the board would not be prepared to take the risk. Oz would certainly give every thing to the cause................not sure about Greenwood.

Re: So long Seru?...
The problem is that we need quality cover for when players are called up for national teams and when they are out through injuries. This means that some players don't get regular games - like Seru - but we may find that he's the very player we need later in the season. Say what you like about Pat H...

Re: Not performing the basics!!!
The thing with Goode was he had plenty of upper body strength (beer belly) to plough through smaller 10's (Flood). Thats what we miss at 10 no line breaker who can gain yards without losing the ball. Miss him tremendously for tactical know how (when it went well!!!) and he was a game winner. Bring b...

Re: Not performing the basics!!!
Are there any really good number 10's available and within the salary cap??? Flood, Hoougaurd and Mauger have not got the tactical know how to play at 10! You kick for territory not to have opposing wingers/full backs charging back at you. Don't think 10's in France will travel to England.............

Re: So long Seru?...
Caught the end of a sentence on Radio Leicester's rugby hour tonight about us losing a 27 year old Samoan. Is this Tuillagi and Rabeni? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick completely. Anybody listening? I was driving kids to crickett and they kept talking over the top so didn't hear properly. ...

Re: Not performing the basics!!!
I'd leave Cockers in charge until end of the season, hopefully he will start getting back to basics without the pressure of Meyers influence. Again I agree with the comments about winning mentality after Patsys reign, hopefully senior players will pull rank and start to forge a winning ethos with th...

Re: So long Seru?...
I think Seru may have blown his chances of a new contract after his various bans. From what I understand his misdemeanour in the summer (playing in a 7's match whilst banned) was the final straw for some board members - they felt his negligence was unforgiveable and thus he is a liability. This wou...
