Re: Tigers v Gloucester (A) - Sunday 12th March 2023 - KO 13:00

In our last few games we have looked really good. Glaws away is always a tough old game, but our defence at the end of the first half must have been demoralising for Glaws. Sir Kev would be proud of the defence, but massive credit to Everard. In the last few games our try ,one defence has been amazi...

Re: Tigers v Bath (H)- Saturday 04th March 2023 - KO 15:00

Reflecting on the game: Bath deservedly prop up the table. Year after year pundits say they are too good to at the bottom but comfortably the worst side to turn up at Welford Road this season. Their supposedly wonder props were dealt with by our second string. (Playing for Bath does not mean you ar...

Re: Other games - 03-05th March 2023

What a great game. Really compelling and flowing. Bears were a joy to watch. Saints tackling was slightly absent and abysmal. But you can only beat what’s on the table and Bears just had breakfast, lunch and dinner all in one sitting. Great advert for rugby.

That is a really strong Bath team. My Thursday optimism has been replaced by concern! We should (shouldn’t we?) win but not the walk in the park I was hoping for.

Re: Tigers v Bath (H)- Saturday 04th March 2023 - KO 15:00

I am never over confident but after watching Bath v Bristol last Friday, we should spank them. They were us 3 years ago, devoid of any attacking ideas and 1 off play. Line out was pot and scrum not anything to write home about. That saying we will probably lose!! I will be on the crumbie beer in ha...

Re: Tigers v London Irish (A) - Saturday 25th February 2023 - KO 19:30

2 wins on the bounce with our 6N’s contingent away is more than we expected. Bath looked utterly dire on Friday, so we should be able to take 3 from 3. Cracknell is a dream club player. Abrasive, aggressive, can play a few positions and also not on the international radar. He has been a great buy. C...

I think that the Ref had his number and was pinging him constantly, whether rightly or wrongly so I guess SB took him out to save penalties and free kicks.
Only reason I can think of.

Re: Who should be the next Head Coach / DoR at Tigers?

I have never heard of him so won’t pass judgement. Was hoping for a stellar name but if he has been chosen by Andrea and the club then I am sure he will be very good. I guess if Aussies were desperate to keep hold of him then he will have something about him. Smart to choose a coach who fits into ou...

Re: Who should be the next Head Coach / DoR at Tigers?

So Tigers are going to choose a new coach and should he look at this thread he will.see that many fans wanted someone else I think it’s a bit of fun and if a Coach looked at this forum and saw they were second choice and chucked their toys out the cot, maybe they are not of the moral fibre we need?...

Re: Tigers post Borthwick - next Head Coach?

One thing does perplex me slightly in all this house of cards/Game of Thrones moving. We have been successful for half and a bit season, with the Euro final and winning the Premiership final. How is that we have been rinsed butthe RFU and Sarries and Exeter to the same extent have been left alone b...

Re: Tigers v Saints (H) - Saturday 28th January 2023 - KO 14:00

Edwards was poor, ponderous and unable to get the ball quickly from ruck or scrum. Our driving maul is a busted flush. Watson did not get ball in hand enough in promising positions, particularly when we had front foot ball in the first 20. Poor all round despite some excellent individual efforts Ye...
