Re: Reffell still not in the Wales Squad
I agree that Reffell isn’t a Pivac style 7 but might be better suited for Wales at 6?

I don't think he will be a one-cap wonder, you know.

Re: 4G Pitch bans? Leggings are allowed
Understand their value potentially for children in winter, but they should be banned for adults. End of.

Re: Chile knock Canada out of contention for the RWC
O Canada! O Canada!
Obviously well done to Chile, it's a massive achievement for them et al, but with the growth of MLR, Canada should really be doing better.

The bubble environments are exhausting enough as it is, without factoring in game time.

Re: Round 3 - Saracens (H) - Saturday 02nd October 2021
Could be a season-defining match, but only in the sense of how we react to the result. Sarries are there for the taking, but there’s no need to panic if we do indeed lose.

Re: Tigers @ Gloucester - Friday 24th September 2021 - 1945
Relooking at the Balmain try the offence is not so much by Twelvetrees on Ford but his then standing in the way to prevent Hanro then coming round to fill the hole that they then dive through. Twelvetrees was interfering with play. High and this dangerous tackle on Potter after the whistle should a...

Re: Lichfield Leicester Tigers women thread
Thought might as well get a thread going for those interested. GB Olympian and England RWC winner Heather fisher signs on as head of strength and conditioning as well as coaching with Vicky Macqueen, head of Tigers women’s rugby, in support of Lichfield Ladies. https://www.leicestertigers.com/news/...

Re: Tigers @ Gloucester - Friday 24th September 2021 - 1945
Fordy was poor tonight, a world class fly half makes his kicks and he didn’t, if B Barrett didn’t do his job I don’t think he would get a pat on the back, he made lots of poor decisions, kicking the ball out on the full, looked shaky in his open play, hopefully just a blip but we have a decent fly ...

Re: Tigers @ Gloucester - Friday 24th September 2021 - 1945
We got the win, needless to say that Borthwick is no mug, and himself and the whole team will be aware of things we need to improve on. Good experience for the youngs un playing away at a full Kingsholm for the first time as well, that and the nature of the new pitch meant it was always going to be ...

I remember the fallout with Cockers and his departure well, but is what he says true? Did the club just not want him anymore?

Re: 21/22 Injury/Suspension Thread
Not sure if Youngs is injured, could be a farming matter, harvest season is upon us and with the labour shortage I don’t think it’s outrageous to argue that this what is keeping OTY off the pitch, rather than (hopefully) anything else,

Re: Tigers @ Gloucester - Friday 24th September 2021 - 1945
Doh! (And yes I really dislike artificial pitches too. Our hybrid is far superior) Fully agree. It looks like they will have Mark Atkinson available after his call up to the England training camp. A good center who we will need to close down quickly to stop his distribution game. With the loss of K...
