Re: Irish rugby sex scandal!

Nothing to see here, move on and let them put it behind them. All consenting adults, so their choice despite what others' morals may steer their opinion.

Re: Rugby on TV with BT?

Further to my previous post, I have now tried to put in the Emirates cup into record tomorrow, and whilst it was refusing to put the program into the record schedule this morning, it has at least accepted the record now. I wait with baited breath to see whether the record works when I get home tomor...

Re: Rugby on TV with BT?

As a BT broadband customer, I signed up to get BT Sports free. So far, so good. But, as I am going to the Emirates Cup tomorrow and Sunday (Arsenal FC) and it is being covered by BT Sports, I tried to put it in to record on my Sky+ box. It would not record! I phoned sky and was eventually told that ...

Re: Cockerill resentenced

after listening to that I can see the club suing the RFU On what grounds? Listening to the show, it was stated that the RFU may have had a hand in RC not being represented by his chosen Barrister, Richard Smith. They were inferring that he had accepted the brief but pulled out without explanation l...

Re: Cockerill resentenced

Yes, you did say the evidence was clear on the video footage. So what was the evidence clearly showing? Nobody has said he didn't do it. The discussion was with regard to intent and I don't think skulking away necessarily proves the intention was to break Hawkins' arm. The video footage actually sh...

Re: Cockerill resentenced

In the heat of the moment we all say things we do not really mean; " I will kill him when he gets home" " I will knock his block off " " I'll tell my team to smash the *x#?* " We say things like that but our actions are different. Tigers in recent years do not have a b...

Re: Cockerill resentenced

Yes, I'm not sure about the use of the word deliberately either. Really? Do you really believe that Callum Clark didn't deliberately hyper-extend Rob Hawkins' arm? If so, then you will be hard pushed to find any incident that you can apply the word 'deliberate' to. All the evidency, including him s...

Ah yes, the Ospreys tactic of game time maximisation!

New contract = happy at the club

We tend to have more of the former!
And more to the point on a weekly basis:

Selected for the matchday 23 = happy
Not selected for the matchday 23 = unhappy

Re: Who are all the unhappy players at Leicester?

This was done to death almost a month ago, and many lost much respect for Castro for the comments attributed to him. An abridged summary is something like this: Seem like Toulon made him an offer (despite being in contract), Castro was attracted (by the Euros) and asked to leave for Toulon. We discu...

Re: Cockerill resentenced

What most people remember about this incident is that they saw our DoR shouting in the face of an official during an important game. That image sticks in the mind longer than any inadequacies in the RFU’s sentencing. I understand your sentiment Coalvillebob, and we do need to address Cockerill's ma...

Re: George Ford, Bath the perfect place

I too have a feeling that Flood will fall out of favour with England and we will see a lot of him this season. However, he will be 29 by the time the 1014/15 season starts and I can seriously see him moving to France to increase his pension pot. Not sure how long he is contracted to with Tigers?

Re: Next Season's Heineken Cup all threads merged here

That scheduling is a complete disgrace, particularly the away games - 8pm Friday evening in Belfast and 4pm Sunday in Montpellier. And no public transport for many for the Friday evening home game.

Just confirmed our reasoning for giving up our STs this year.

Only if it is a semi-final! Certainly not a pool game.

Re: LV Cup - not Ospreys AGAIN

Honestly, who really cares? Certainly not our management if you look at the teams selected in recent seasons .... until we got close to winning it that was. Here is the XV that started our first game of last season's LV cup. 15 Niall Morris 14 Henry Purdy 13 Andy Forsyth 12 Andy Symons 11 Alex Lewin...
