Re: Leicester v Ulster
I do not understand some of the comments made, Since we got most of the boys back from the World Cup we have won 4 and drawn 1 we do have a problem in the centre but we have the players when fit to correct that. Our newly re-assembled team has to have time to gell but recent results are not bad, the...

Re: Being turned off rugby
I don't understand why J. Griffin is so critical of Cocker and refers to last seasons performance. As I recall last season despite an early season injury crisis and losing several key players to international call-up we finished top of the league scoring nearly twice as many tries as any other team....

Away Travel.
I have been surprised to learn just how many supporters don't know about Leicester Tigers Away Supporters Club. We have been in existence for over thirty years, I have been Chairman for over thirteen years and before me was Peter Jaques and others before him. We travel by coach to nearly all of Tige...

Re: Summer Transfers
Brookes sees himself as a tighthead, but is able to play loosehead, hookers dont hook anymore so he can play there but dont expect him to. He is mobile for a prop and maybe more so when Tigers get him down to his target weight of about eighteen stones. Having seen him play for Falcons and the Saxons ...

Re: Staunton's Replacement
I can't see the point of all this discussion, Cocker has a good record of bringing on young players and signing young potential, not many players leave us to excel elsewhere. Ford is a great prospect, on his showings this season he has demonstrated a good brain and a good boot however his physical d...

Re: Billy Twelvetrees and jordan Crane - Eng Saxons - Churchill
Twelvetrees had an excellent game yesterday as did all the the players with tigers connections but the opposition was not great. You can only play the team in front of you but the Yanks were clearly not upto the standard of even a top championship side, the same applies to the Italian and Canadian t...

Thanks for the season.
I have not been on this forum for a while due to a computer problem now sorted, having revisited I am shocked by the nonsensical calls for replacing Cockers & Matt. we have just completed a season in which we have scored more tries than any other Premiership team and apart from one memorable mat...

Re: Day flight to Leinster
I quite agree with Jamie Wilkinson that its better to have an overnight stay (or even two in my case) to enjoy Dublin but some people just do not have the time and may be willing to pay for the speedy return. I have since been advised of an alternative airline offering a fifty seater plane at £266 p...

Day flight to Leinster
An airline company has approached me asking if I thought there was a demand for a flight from Birmingham airport to Dublin leaving at about 9.30am on Saturday 9th April and departing Dublin at about 9.30/10.00pm on the same day. Cost would be £199.00 and they would need 118 people to fill the Jet. T...

Re: Welcome to Perpignan and the Us@pistes
You are all very observant. L.T.A.S.C will be leaving on the Thursday evening, travelling through the night to arrive in Perpignan at about 4pm local time. After a night out in the town we will see the match on Saturday, have another night out and start back Sunday morning. We expect to be back in L...

Re: Welcome to Perpignan and the Us@pistes
The Away Supporters Club will be running a coach trip to Perpignan. Leaving Friday evening arriving Saturday late afternoon at a 3* central hotel, two nights bed & breakfast, returning Monday. £155.00 all in. We have made this trip twice before, it's tough but good fun and all survived. If the m...

Re: Guinness A game vouchers to allow entry to game
The A team matches are certainly worth attending, but for the club the attendances of a couple of years ago i.e. 10,000 plus were not good financially as the stewarding costs etc were greater than the revenue received so don't expect Tigers to go overboard about whipping up support for these matches.

Re: LTASC Details Of Coach Transfer From Parma To Viadana
As stated in my previous post LTASC was entertainedthe night before the game to a Tappas type meal which was attended by the majority of those travelling on the coach, some went for a meal elsewhere. Before the match everyone bar one of those travelling on the coach went to the Perpignan clubhouse a...

Re: LTASC Details Of Coach Transfer From Parma To Viadana
B.J's post has only just been brought to my attention, Top Cat thought it was not worthy of a reply, I think it is always best to correct some one so wrong. His initial comment about a the phrase "avoiding implications" of driving ahve already been answered by others. Why did he have to ma...
