TBH I am surprised to see Kata on the bench. Of the games I have seen, he has been one of the few consistent attacking threats.

Dare I say it but the contrast with Saints is alarming.

Hope so. "Hands off our Tigers" is my feeling with these too frequent internationals...Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Sat Jan 13, 2024 9:58 am ...You would think that Mitchell, Smith, Freeman and Furbank will all be in the England squad.

Re: Other matches - 12-14th January 2024
I thought watching Saints beat up a minnow was pretty depressing...and I got bored after about 20 mins, but despite the depleted opposition it was great for Saints fans...I assume. At long last Saints seem to have a defence...

Much to my surprise Stade Rochelais is only mid-table in the French T14. Anyone know why?

One of my kids birthdays tommorow. Got family commitments Do I a) keep track and occasionally check the scores b) go for a online blackout and plan to watch later? I'd go for (a) via the web, and if a win you can have a most enjoyable watch later! Personally - and I appreciate others are different ...

Interesting to note that Charles Richardson's recent ranking of the top 20 U.K.-based rugby union players (in the Telegraph) includes 6 Tigers! Messers Pollard, Montoya, Wiese, Steward, Martin and Watson. Apologies if this has been reported on earlier in the forum.

Re: Tigers v Bath (H) - Premiership - Sunday 31st December 2023 - KO 3-00pm
I've been very impressed with Whiteley as third choice. It's a bit odd to complain that he's not as good as Youngs or JVP, that's literally the point of having him. And that’s the key he is 3rd choice with lots of premiership experience He made one great cover tackle against Bath and another in a p...

I see I was charged £17.70 for two pints of Tiger which seems a bit steep to me - does this seem correct? I didn't ask for a receipt so my fault. Bovril now £3.30 when it used to be £2 or so, so I could believe £8.85 for a pint! :smt003 No idea. Plus £5.25 for a large sausage roll, it makes my mont...
