Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread
Why would the Board buy centres when we already have Messrs Smith and Tait as game breakers. Because both are over 30 and have a history of injury problems. To be honest I'm surprised Tait got a new contract, we're paying for his rugby brain rather than his physical capabilities these days. We need...

Re: New Signings !!!! I am totally under whelmed
I think the lack of big signings and the number of players re-signed indicates how good the hierarchy at Tigers think the current squad is and I tend to agree with them providing we can keep them fit. The only caveat is fly half where I'm not convinced Joe is enough while George is away with Englan...

Re: New Signings !!!! I am totally under whelmed
Betham? What about him? I'm genuinely interested as to why some think we don't have room in the cap. With the talent that has left and Ayerza in particular retiring, surely we haven't spent up or even that close to the cap on the replacements or new contracts to aged players like Tait, thus far who...

Re: So proud...
Great game, great effort, great atmosphere, just wished we could have shown a touch more control when they got desperate, but no complaints over the season, Wasps deserve a crack at Twickenham, we can take great pride in going so close after a season of turmoil and upheaval.

Re: Ricoh heading for a sell out by tomorrow
Wasps STH's have until tonight to take up their seats so there should be a few more coming on-line tomorrow if anyone is still after a ticket.

Why would they? Nothing is ever done about truly policing it anyway.POSTIGER wrote:Saracens don't even bother to put up the pretence of adhering to the salary cap anymore.

Re: Owen Williams Confirmed to Gloucester
Sorry to see Owen Williams going to Cherry whites. In my opinion, wrong choice, if he believes he wants International Caps. Did not develop into Wales potential at Tigers. Never on their radar. Flood is at the twilight of his playing career. Maybe good for a season. Maybe an injury gamble. Ford pla...

Re: The Tigers business model
Underhill, Rapava-Ruskin, Fearns, etc, etc. Are these all examples of our current lack of pull and inability to complete in the transfer market? Maybe Rapava-Ruskin wasn't essential but the others???? Underhill looks class, but I'm equally as excited by Evans. Our inability to sign an 8 though is o...

Re: How we qualify for Euro QFs
I like it! It's nice to see some positivity on here for a change. Be aware though that you are now going to be shot down for even contemplating Tigers qualifying. Equally, it would be refreshing to see some realism from you sometimes rather than the ridiculous blind faith that pervades every single...

Re: Three weeks and counting....
Well Wasps have confirmed their KO times on their website, so it would be nice of Tigers to follow suit ASAP!!! No they haven't. Says TBC on their fixture list page http://www.wasps.co.uk/fixtures-results Mind you, I'm waiting for a day and time for the Edinburgh game at Quins, and given it's the C...
