Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
Genge took a paycut to go back to Bristol so he could be with his family, I doubt he wants to move away from them again already. Where have the reports that he's unsettled come from? I don't buy the paycut narrative. It was a year when he would have had to take a paycut if he'd stayed as well, it al...

Re: Return of Champions Cup - Tigers v Stormers - Sunday 10th December 2023
Let’s face it, Rugby is pretty impenetrable to the average sports fan and the way the Champions Cup is set up doesn’t help matters. At the risk of going off topic, the sport is destined to fail if the powers that be can’t find a way to make competitions understandable and like football, have the be...

Completely agree with all. She is certainly one of the best sirs out there and I would definitely favour her to some others.... One of the best refs at WR in a while. I believe she would be referred to as Ma'am. This being the formal way to refer to a lady in authority (as practised in the Military...

Re: Wasps in the mire - now in administration
Perhaps Dayglo and Co were playing Wordle - they had the letters W, A and S but literally in the wrong place? They’ve already had at least five goes guessing the (ideal?!) location ie Hampstead, Sudbury, QPR, High Wycombe, Coventry so about to lose the game? I had no idea they started in Hampstead....

Re: Caterpillar rucks
A little while ago, someone on here suggested that 9's should be allowed to dummy. However, once they had, the ball is out and they're fair game. Like starting the run up for a kick.

Re: Eddie Jones resigns as Australia coach
The interviews with Andrea Pinchen have shown me that she and her team have had contingencies in place for things going sideways with staff way before many of us thought there might be an issue. I imagine the current situation will have been planned for.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/67185493 Bok scrum might not be so dominant with no hooker! Apparently we all need to learn Africaans at the cry was warning the Boks that the ball was on the "White Side." (Wit kant) A similar play on words "pick my most beautiful side" i...

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results
I do hope England beat South Africa today. Ok Dokie, that statement is so out of character that I am perplexed. Would you be so kind as to offer an elucidation? They’ll climb to 4th in the table, which will put them in a strong position to make the semifinals, bearing in mind the teams they are sti...

Re: Wasps in the mire - now in administration
Sadly I agree. There is valid talk about a strong championship but that will never be realistic with one man and his dog watching and with teams that have so little wider interest that you cannot give the TV rights away. Wasps are at least a known brand and will attract people which is more than ca...

Re: Wasps in the mire - now in administration
But will they get RFU approval to jump into a high level league or do they have to work their way up. I know which way I am in favour of. Surely, if the RFU want to be seen as fair, resistant to any influence and bias, and with the game’s best interest at heart, they have to insist on the latter! C...

Typical Welsh overconfidence against a side that’s been improving all tournament.
