Looks good - on paper, so they'll either get the match wrapped up or be torn to shreds.

I'll get my coat!

Re: French rugby 2020/2021

Bernard Laporte has just been re-elected as President of the FFR - but by only a small margin. He polled 51.47% of the votes and his opponent, Florian Grill, 48.53%. I'm not at all convinced that's a good thing for French rugby, as he's someone who's just spent a short time in police custody for all...

Re: Steve Borthwick

https://www.bbc.com/sport/rugby-union/54388428 Take a read of this BBC sport article. I'll go along with what he says and would like to see some progress in the new season. The close season is rather short, but without doubt there'll be some intensive and soul-searching training sessions and some te...

Re: European competitions

This could be an issue: Several players at European Champions Cup finalists Racing 92 have tested positive for Covid-19 with the final in Bristol against Exeter just over two weeks away. Racing’s Top14 fixture at La Rochelle has had to be postponed but as the players who have been tested positive a...

Re: Tigers vs Bristol

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/54330470 Leicester director of rugby Geordan Murphy told BBC Radio Leicester: "At 7-3, the game was right where we wanted it 25 minutes in, but we gave a penalty away straight from the kick-off. "They kicked to the corner and we found ourselves 14-3...

Re: Tigers vs Bristol

Are there any postives to Murphy being DoR? Other than him no longer being head coach?

Re: Clubs on the brink

Why not introduce 3 year season tickets to help the club until finances improve If ringfencing comes and a guaranteed place in the Premiership is assured, then why not. Best argument I can think of is that you would be robbing Peter to pay Paul; we'd survive this season and then have a revenue drop...

Re: Tigers vs Bristol

Henry is a fly half - period! This talk of putting him in the centre or fullback is nonsense as Tigers don’t need another «utility » three quarter/fullback. He’s proved his worth at 10 and his chances of being in the starting XV will come and I really hope he grabs them with both hands. Especially ...
