Wayne Barnes is giving a master class of how to ref in the Bristol v Chiefs game.
I hope Mr. Dickson is watching!
Really nervous but excited about the game tomorrow.

Re: SAINTS AT HOME 24TH APRIL 2021
With Dickson reffing both sides will be worried about the way he refs. Sadly, having watched him ref games that involve us and those that don’t, I’ve rarely seen him ref well or consistently. Too much reliance on the TMO and doesn’t communicate with the players in a clear way. I’m sure he’s a very d...

Re: SAINTS AT HOME 24TH APRIL 2021
I’ve watched most of Saints games and they certainly put in 80 v Irish and will be raring to go to get another win against us. Everyone knows that the team that wants it the most in this derby usually wins. Think it will be a similar game to Bath: lots of running rugby from them but with Biggar play...

Re: Away vs Bath 18th April
At the final whistle the players, especially George Martin looked momentarily distraught but by rather time the players got to the Bath players then there was a good spirit between them. Bath just about deserved it and even Steve Borthwick will probably realise he needs a slightly different approach...

Re: Away vs Bath 18th April
To be honest I don’t think that we couldn’t, with a almost full team out beat any side this season. I do agree that we make changes far too early. However, Bath and Tigers are similar in the fact they had been hit with international call ups, band and injuries. Both teams played very well today. Let...

Re: SAINTS AT HOME 24TH APRIL 2021
Come on folks it’s Saints. Best side out which has to have JVP in. Secondly, to be honest the pressure is on Saints as they lose and it will dent their top 4 ambitions. As always, the next game is the biggest and beat Saints sends a message out to Ulster. Best side but I don’t mind which way round t...

Re: Away vs Bath 18th April
Tigers played very well and Wiese unlucky as he made a great break which should have been finished off. Then we gave away a couple of silly penalties in their 22. Needed Hanro on at the end along with Lavanini to add some grunt. Thought Pearce was ok but touch judge and TMO still a bit off for us bu...

Re: Away vs Bath 18th April
Proud of the effort. Would like to see Ford kick further on penalties as since Zac Henry has been out our forwards haven’t been able to use a potent weapon. Can’t just blame Wiese as the Martin penalty when in front of their posts when another score then would have sealed it. Also, next season or ho...

Re: Away vs Bath 18th April
That’s why this will be an excellent test against a Bath side that has a pack to bully ours and backs that are used to running the ball. Bath are a little further along their road to recovery and would be higher up the table if they hadn’t been affected with quite a few players out due to internatio...

Re: Away vs Bath 18th April
Bath always target this as one of, if not their biggest games of the season just like Saints. This will really test just how good we now are and for Bath, well, at some point they will have to rest their internationals, particularly Watson! I would have liked JVP in because I now believe he is bette...

Re: Away vs Bath 18th April
Bath have the players to convincingly beat any team and Tigers, if they get their line speed right can cause any team problems. I’m hoping we can once again compete and then who knows! I know it’s one game at a time but the next 3 games will give Steve Borthwick and the players a severe examination ...

Re: Away vs Bath 18th April
Bath, Saints and Ulster: they’re the most important games now. Get 2 and no hammering will mean Tigers might get into the top 4-6 or a Cup Final. I’ve always enjoyed watching the Lions and England but I’m always more upset when Tigers lose! I understand though that the players’ aim is to play for th...

Re: May 17th Fans back in Stadiums....possibly?
Well written Tigerburnie. To get back to watching matches will be a liberating feeling so if I need a passport or need to wear a face ask great. So be it as the club will do what they believe is right to keep us safe. Well done the club and the politicians in extremely difficult times. Let sense pre...

Re: Away vs Bath 18th April
All fit players will want to play and especially Martin who hasn’t played much all season. Zac Henry has, and that includes Ford, been the best at kicking penalties to touch but like McPhillips his kicking for goal is nowhere near as good as Ford. Agree that Genge needs to be in all the squads as he...

Re: Mike Ford
Always thought Mike Ford was a very good coach but not a Head Coach.
Now that he is being allowed to specialise on the defence then hopefully we will keep on getting tighter!
