Re: Premiership rejects BT TV offer
It would be harsh on BT which have done a better job than Sky were doing, (cant stand Dayglo or Doyle though), whose to say Amazon wouldn't up it again. I only have a BT subscription at present as all our league games will be on, once that's finished, I'll be off, I don't have Prime but if the rugb...

Re: Premiership rejects BT TV offer
Reading last night, appears that BT are willing to forego any COVID related compensation claims if their existing contract is extended. The deal is moving closer to a new deal, even though it could be for less money £37m instead of £40m.

Re: This weekends other games
From Fri night - Saints really cannot buy a win right now.... 12-9 to Saints 73 minutes. Bordeaux go to kick a penalty, it bounces off the post, Saints players make like statues while Cordero bursts through gets a nice bounce and scoots over for a try. If you are a Saints fan you wouldn't know whet...

Re: Tigers v Chiefs
Some fight, some grit, some determination - like we had in Gloucester match would be good.
Some good defence and the possibility of coming out with a LBP
Anyone mentioned we.re on a journey.........................

Re: Club Statement - COVID-19
Is the forfeiting of a game that cannot be played due to COVID a regulation for the coming season? Can the game be re-arranged? I thought that the regulation was only in place for the completion of last season due to the very small window to get the games completed. Prem Rugby are due to announce f...

Re: Club Statement - COVID-19
Premiership Rugby will no longer automatically award five points to teams when the opposition is unable to field a side because of coronavirus. League bosses confirmed a four-point win will be awarded to the club able to name a side, with two points to the team forced to cancel. Looks like cancellin...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester
BT showing Quins v Chiefs on Friday evening and Wasps v Bristol on Sunday. Poor coverage indeed when folks can't get to see anything live. Pity they can't do saturation coverage like they did to finish off last season. Anything being shown elsewhere? I need to see some competitive games instead of ...

Re: Predictions 20-21
I'm not into picking teams so won't bother :smt003 In terms of a Tigers "bolter" - maybe Steward :smt023 I think finishing in Euro Cup qualification should be the target for next season (is that above 8th?). Season after Top 6 or Top 4 at a stretch, with a view to semi final or even final ...

Commitments in Australia I would have thought - family, current role etc.
It was far easier (and cheaper) for him to provide support via Skype/Zoom etc at periods throughout the year (monthly I think).

Re: Fans supporting the club.
The club are already getting my money for our STs - the direct debits have continued to be taken so I'm glad the club are getting a small amount of revenue.
