Re: Ealing PRC game info

…but as much as anything else our lack of a backs coach is obvious to see. It’s a bit like watching England, when we have front foot ball or win a turnover, do you ever feel that Tigers (or England) could go from one end of the field to the other? I don’t.

Re: Ealing PRC game info

Ealing defo got the momentum now. All about whether we can hold on to 80 without conceding, which is unlikely. Even if we win, this has been a properly poor performance overall by most Regardless of the result this has been a shocking performance. Don’t deserve the win. Agree with this. I wonder if...

Re: Ealing PRC game info

Lesson to be learned was Exeter at 17-0 down had some easy 3pointers with plenty of time but kept kicking to the corner or taking tap penalties which resulted in no tries! Build a score and then the pressure mounts. If they had potted all their kickable penalties they would have had a comfortable w...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

I see Scotland are seeking ‘admission of officials’ error from World Rugby’. I can’t help but muse what the reaction might be if it were England making such a move.

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

It makes me almost impressed with Tigers’ loss to Ireland-lite by only the 17 points! :smt003

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

What doesn’t seem to be reflected, in the headlines at least, is the fact that Scotland threw that game away by trying to sit back on a lead and play no rugby letting the French in for their try. That’s where it was lost for me, sadly. If that were England they would be getting pelters. Well, Englan...

Excellent character.
In fairness we were 10-0 after 30 so it wasn’t too shabby! I’ll take a win away from home however it comes.

Isn’t Matt Smith in charge of the backs?

Just got to get behind the lads and enjoy the night at the Stoop …keeping the faith as always and intend to make the most of our night down there ✊ 👍pity when we’ve got six weeks without a game that they take our players a week before the six nations Then again, we’re disadvantaged for one game rat...

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022

Unlike most on this board I’m a big Farrell fan. Still I don’t see this as a big moment where RFU need to revisit eligibility rules as all journos claiming We have 3 fly-half’s in England who would walk into most international squads. The Farrell-Ford era is over and it’s time for the Smiths. I agr...

Re: Other matches - 19th - 21st January 2024

Just got home from the Bath match in a sold out Stade Ernest Wallon. An excellent game and Bath oh so nearly had the nerve to snatch from Toulouse and I think they deserved the losing bp which may have given them a home match in the next round. Jack Willis not being available for England is a trave...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

So would I, but that still doesn’t paper over the fact that he hasn’t shone in what is a pretty shoddy Gloucester team. I just don’t see how Borthers could pick him right now. Show some form, which I think he can do, then that’s a different matter. It’s one thing to bring a few untried kids into the...
