Re: Tigers v Toulouse - Bring It On!

I arrived in Toulouse yesterday, so can report the weather is a little wet, but not too bad, though it might be on Sunday. Managed to find the Frog & Rosbif again pretty quickly, and Thursdays are happy hour all night, so stayed there :smt030 and had a pretty nice curry too. Hopefully I might st...

Last season I watched the Treviso match on myp2p.eu.

That site is no longer available, does anyone know a orking alternative?
I just spotted the same thing, but try http://www.myp2p.pe - it's the same site.

Re: Old Tiger in the news...

This might sound strange, but when I was at the Nottingham pre-season game v Tigers, I thought at the time that I spotted Mr Erinle on the touchline talking to the Nottingham subs... I mentioned it to my brother, but dismissed it as I assumed that I would have heard if he moved there... hmmmmm! :smt...

Re: Dan Cole

I'm a big fan of Dan but if Brookes turns out to be as good as some say then we are still very well covered. There are a fair few young guys at the club who I think are much more important to keep hold of and the salary cap will only stretch so far.... See above for my immediate response, Will... I...

Re: London Wasps v Leicester

The consensus in my corner of the end terrace is that: i) Grindal was painfully slow behind the rucks... on a couple of occasions he took a full 10 second to decide what to do with the ball at the back of a ruck in our own 22... and when he passed, the back line were flat and receiving the ball stoo...

Re: Forgotten Heros

I don't know about day-to-day, but I have shaken hands with Tim Stimpson, Dave Lougheed and Freddie T at the Dubai 7s the last few years - they were all playing for charity veterans teams.

Re: For what it's worth

Well done to Tigers for keeping up the pressure for 30-odd phases at the end, but, loathed as I am to say it, well done to Sarries for defending against it. Tigers unfortunately left it until after the 80 mins had elapsed to try and win the game, and it won't work 2 years in a row! ;-)

Manu in the England squad - duck and cover!

According to the Daily Mail website, further to winning at the Rugby Players' Association end-of-season dinner (as mentioned in another thread...), both Manu and TTTE are included in England's 40 man RWC training squad - brace yourself for the troll backlash! http://tinyurl.com/4ynshve The photograp...

Re: Tigers drop out of top 6 seeds for Heineken Cup

There's something wrong with that erc link in the first post... according to that, Tigers got 2 points from the 09/10 campaign, but they were losing finalists, so should have 11! Aha... click on the 'Heineken Cup Tiers' link just above the table, and you will see we are on 23 points not 18 Tier 1 Po...

Re: Manu

I know the chances of not having a disciplinary hearing are slim to none, with slim off the table, but doesn't the citing officer's decision to call a hearing have to bee announced within 24hrs of the final whistle of the game? I haven't seen anything in the press yet...

Re: Sarries new ground hits buffers

I played last Friday in Hong Kong for the Pot-Bellied Pigs against HK RFC, on an artificial pitch inside the Happy Valley racecourse, and it was brilliant - no skinned knees, and it takes a stud too, without getting torn up!

Re: WALES v IRELAND

Quick line out is defined in law 19.2, clearly the conditions described therein (specifically d) were not met. Normal line out can only take place when a lineout has formed as defined in law 19.8, this requires a minumum of two players from each team. This condition was also not met. If the ref had...

Thank you BJ - I will admit I was rather incensed after a couple yesterday too - I'm still of the same opinion but I respect your integrity.
