Re: New kit

Just been told that they won't be selling the away in a classic version :smt005 it is laughable how :censored: our club is at certain things..the classic version is only available with huge white arms (quite possibly the most stupid design ever) I would probably buy a long sleeved version of the aw...

Re: Championship Final

The first half was a cracking advert for flowing rugby - you couldn't take your eyes off it. The double yellow cards allowed Worcs to get some momentum, but Lamb's missed kicks may just come back to haunt them !

Can't wait for the second leg - lets hope for more of the same :smt023

Re: England World Cup Training Squad

Kitch who has been in outstanding form for the past two seasons, one of the most athletic and mobile locks in the country doesn't get in the squad but an over hyped centre come flanker who has played a handful of games gets in, burgess needs to earn his stripes before he should even get a sniff of ...

Re: Wasps to become the richest club in Europe?

Wasps on course to become the richest club in Europe Not sure how they work this out as turnover is not really a barometer of how rich you are, its how much you are worth/have in the bank, surely ? A quick (and possibly inaccurate) look at the turnover of Arena Coventry in 2014 was £12m and for Was...

Tigers Players Player of the Year

From newsfeed : Scrum-half Sam Harrison was named Players' Player of the Year, with George Catchpole topping the vote as Players' Young Player of the Year. Graham Kitchener received the award for Try of the Season, as voted for by the club's sponsors, for his score in the game away to London Welsh. ...

Re: What do we want out of the next 2 rounds?

This weeks winners : Bath (BP) v Irish Sale v Quins Glaws v Newc TIGERS (BP) v Welsh Saints (LBP) v Sarries Wasps v Exeter (LBP) If Saints lose this weekend, I can see them finishing 3rd with Bath taking top spot for the playoffs. If Wasps get a bonus point against Irish in round 22 and finish the g...

Re: 2014/15 Rumours/Contracts/Signings part 3

I hope this doesn't come back and bite us. IMHO without Blake we would be languishing down the table and hoping for a top 6 place. :smt017 Yes, he really has made a difference in quite a short space of time - seems daft to let that sort of talent go, unless it's his choice & Tigers are ultra co...

Re: 4 wins

Okay, so by my reckoning Saints are home & dry at the top of the table. Bath will likely get 4 wins from games with Newc/Irish/Quins/Glaws to finish second - unless Quins can beat them at home OR Sarries win all their games - including at the MK stadium against Saints. Realistically, we will not...

Re: Matt Smith - about time for recognition

Whilst I appluad the "one club" mentality, it has to be said that there would not be many (IMO) other clubs lining up to take Matt off our hands! I know what its like to be technically inferior, but able to do a job for the team - I played roundball for years and was always given the job o...

Re: Tigers Tradition #2

A copy of the traditions is sent out with every ticket purchased in the hope that people not only read them, but abide by them too. It's also up on posters in the bars around the ground - at least it was in the Final Whistle on Saturday... I can't remember the specifics, but the basic gist of the l...

Re: Exeter at home

I'd imagine Cockerill sees a need to shore up the midfield defensively, hence Smith's selection. But from what I've seen Bai likes to step out of the line whereas Smith tends to hold back = which sounds like there will be a propensity to leave large gaps for the Chiefs to exploit.... Also, I don't ...

Re: Exeter at home

Well that is not ideal at all... Hopefully the forwards can do the job :smt023 Agree the forwards will have to win this one. It will be tough for Freddy to produce some magic for us with Bai trucking into contact & Smith's inability to pass OR beat his man. Plus we now have another partnership ...

Re: BT Sport to extend Premiership Contract

I have to watch the BBC coverage with the sound off because of all the rubbish spouted by the so called experts. BT & Sky both have better commentary teams, but a ref mike option on the red button - and maybe a choice of camera options too - would be great additions to the product IMO. Glad at l...
