Barnes and Pearce are generally quite good at communicating bilingually, would love to see more British & Irish Refs do the same, I think the Italians would appreciate if the refs knew some Italian too.

Maybe the solution is just speak Latin in European games? :smt003
Esperanto??

Re: May 17th Fans back in Stadiums....possibly?

As long as it’s not longterm, I don’t have any concerns. By the point Mattioli Woods Welford Road can have a full crowd in August you would hope all over 18s will have been offered one dose of the vaccine by then, so I don’t see a problem with having these measures. As Loretta says, we may object t...

Re: May 17th Fans back in Stadiums....possibly?

A little more information......... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/56683611 So. Covid passports of some type may be on the cards. 2 thoughts occurred to me. On complaints that it would split fans into those who can go and those who can't, what world do people live in where we're all are equal in attend...

Re: Re-Shaping Leicester Tigers

Because the term “entertaining “ can be used in many different ways. For many life long rugby fans, like me, the intricacies of a hard fought low scoring game with lots of mauls and scrums IS entertaining. A game that is often derided as “one for the connoisseurs “ is at the heart of why we love rug...

Re: Injury/Suspensions List

Well I'm glad KVW will get a month to reflect on his, all too frequent, stupid decisions. The great shame is, if he'd made that tackle at chest/lower chest area, it could have been far more effective. Probable turn over in that position on the field. Maybe he should go and study the technique of Da...

I turn the sound off
I tried putting radio Leicester on for the commentary while I watched BT pictures. Really good value, you get 2 completely different games for the price of one!

Re: Injury/Suspensions List

Overall I’d agree. 1. Is it a GDPR issue? Personal information doesn’t ‘belong’ to the club. If so, how come in football they tell you exactly what the injury is/suspected, anticipated term to recovery, progress with recouperation etc? 2. I don’t see it puts a club at much of a tactical disadvantag...

Scotland’s deal with premiership was limited to a number. Therefore Maitland has had to be dropped. That’s a real shame because he has played very well This season.
But he doesn’t play in the premiership. If the deal was done with the Premiership as a body, he may have been left out in the cold.

Balls, indeed.

I find the second clip particularly amusing, did you know that if you play The Beatles' Abbey Road backwards, you can clearly hear John Major saying "Trump is a Dick"? Plus it sounds better.

Re: Injury/Suspensions List

If Kobus gets a longer ban than Hepetema got for a cheap shot on him then the club should be justifiably angry. Tbh his time out of the team could be longer than the ban anyway. Agreed. I for one am getting fed up with his brain farts. Seems like most games he does something casually dim which cost...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

I’ll sleep tonight,it’s been a poor day for rugby but that’s cheered me up no end! Congratulations on the championship Wales If France beat Scotland with a try BP do they not win it? They draw level. Then it’s down to points difference, and Wales have a 20 point advantage. So, Allez Les Bleus, but ...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

You can't blame any team for being able to up their performance against England. You may pity them if they can't manage to do it against anybody else. For those rugby following Brits who are unfortunate enough not to be English, this should be a major problem! If your highly paid side can only play...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

The year the Scottish media doesn’t drag out Jim Telfer is the year I will recognise that they have got over their England chip and I will possibly start to think things may be on the up for them. And just to put it into context my mother and grandparents were Scottish, so they’re my ‘second’ inter...
