Not received new season tickets
Just wondering if this is just me or has anyone else not received their new tickets yet. I have been a season ticket holder for many consecutive years but this year decided to move my seats down a few rows from where I have been. I had not received them before the pre-season game so I contacted the ...

Re: Single use paper cups?
One of the problems with the cups/mugs used for the last few seasons was that the capacity wasn't a full pint. In pubs the standard pint glass/mug is marked with a line, a centimetre or so below the top of the glass, showing where a pint comes up to and therefore leaving space for a head. Essential ...

Re: 22/23 Tigers Kit
It's probably a little too soon to ask, but I will anyway. Do we know if there will be a "classic" version of the shirt? I am still wearing my old Cotton Traders shirts, but like many others, it is showing holes in various places and I could do with an update.

Re: Is it Time to Get Rid of Twickenham?
You obviously went on the second night Yes we did, and according to the set lists, we had fewer songs! Were you referring to the stewarding or the public transport issues that I made? Was the stewarding different and was the ground less full on Friday? Neither, it was over 2 hours late opening, the...

Re: Is it Time to Get Rid of Twickenham?
I went with my son to watch Guns N Roses at the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium on 2 July - the catering there puts Twickenham to shame, although I will caveat that with the fact that beer was actually even more expensive than when we went to HQ for the final a few weeks earlier. The loos were more p...

Re: 21/22 Injury/Suspension Thread
From the EPCR site "Chessum is free to play on Monday, 9 May, however, if he applies for and completes a World Rugby Coaching Intervention, he will be free to play on Monday, 2 May. " So no mention of number of games, they are talking of weeks. On the assumption that Ollie completes the Co...

Re: Steve Borthwick and red cards
My only worry is as we go lower we get more head injuries off hips and knees and we are back to square one. Hmm, not quite sure I'm in agreement with you. When I was coaching mini and junior rugby and we moved from tag to contact, the tackle drills were aimed to always go low, with well used instru...

Re: What's the best views in the House?
My season tickets are also in the lower tier of the big stand and also around the 22 (towards the Aylestone Road end. However, the seats are in row DD, so we don't get wet when it rains and being that bit higher we get a good view of the whole pitch and both screens. I used to be in the Alliance &am...

Re: Ambulances After The Game
Given where the person being attended to was, near to one of the supporters buses on Tigers Way, I don't think they were involved in an incident/hit by a car on Welford Road. It's unlikely they would have made it as far up Tigers Way if they had.

Re: Ambulances After The Game
We too saw the ambulances outside the ground after the game and the crews initially couldn't find the person needing treatment. However, I was walking to board the Harborough Supporters bus and there was someone being attended to by a number of ambulance crew near to one of the buses behind ours. Ou...

Creeping around the ruck
In the Sarries v Sale match on Sunday, a number of times the Sarries players appeared to be creeping around the side of the ruck, clearly with the intent of obstructing the scrum half as soon as they have the ball. The creeping players still had a hand on the players in the ruck, but they were clear...

Re: Austin Healy
In the Sarries v Sale game, he is right about many of the infringements. The creeping around the ruck is not something I want to watch. The high tackles by mainly Sarries should be punished, they have got away with this style of play for many seasons. Itoje should have gone to the bin
