Re: New Citing Procedure
I hope that it will improve the situation. Surely the teams are aware that foul play has taken place. It should not be difficult to find the relevant part of the recording. I like the idea of shorter timescales, and hopefully it will stop the media fuelled witch hunts. Also, it is only a citing, an ...

Re: Coach Travel to Toulouse
Tiger Dweller certainly has my full support. Over the last 8 years or so we have become really good friends, and I have been with them on many away trips, Toulouse, Exeter, Twickenham and even to our local rivals down the A508. I am certain that running the trips will have lost him, and his wife mon...

Re: Are Tigers the new Chokers?
Perhaps one outstanding reason why we lost is our failure to play to the referee. Take Thomas's binning. WB called it 'cynical'. Perhaps there is another view- Easter saw the ball come out to the right, dropped over it, sand bagging in my view. Some referees would have penalised that, but WB, who ha...

Re: tigers fans singing!!!!!
I think some posters are missing an important point here. That is that is anyone says/sings/shouts anything offensive, then they should, quite rightly, be removed from our ground. (I believe that excessive alcohol consumption is a greater danger to supporters than singing!) Also, I believe the reaso...

Re: Referees...
The laws are relatively simple. The problems arise when the referees interpret the laws in response to directives from IRB/RFU. There is a post in another topic referring to a certain loosehead from down the A5199, and his ability, or otherwise, to scrummage. Against Llanelli earlier in the season, ...

Re: Ford MUST replace Flood
I don't think TF bottled it. If he had taken the first opportunity, it would almost certainly been charged down, as the Scarries were up very, very fast, maybe illegally. This was a one chance opportunity and it had to be right, as our whole season could depend on it. Listen to the words of Eminem w...

Re: Ford MUST replace Flood
I really hope that TF returns to his best form, and then await the humble pie to be tasted by the negative posters. He wasn't at his best today, but surely did enough not to warrant the abuse he is getting from so called Tigers Fans.

Re: Ford MUST replace Flood
Some of the posts are so negative. GM took the responsibility, which also split the rush to charge down. Why not be positive? Rarely has Jimmy Grindal played so well- 4th choice scrumhalf. Mulipola was outstanding - again 4th choice. Come on you miserable posters- this was a REAL tigers team perform...

Re: Julian cited (Updated) - given 1 week ban
Unfortunately Rugby has moved on from the 'Old School'. Some may see that as a backward step. However, with cameras sited everywhere, it really is only the fool who thinks he can get away with retaliation, justified though it might be! The cameras rarely pick up the original action, or if they do we...

Doesn't look good today, but maybe tomorrow they can put in a really strong performance.
The team looks good enough, all we need is confidence and belief. I don't think we will have a better opportunity!
Andrew Small is the referee, mmmm!

Re: Julian cited (Updated) - given 1 week ban
Unfortunately I think that one onr two posts miss the point. JW was wrong, and yes it was a penalty but that should have been it. Nobody doubts that JW is a really great bloke, has given great service to this club and is possibly one of the best Tight Heads that has played in the modern game. Howeve...

Re: Julian cited
I have to agree with Kend.
Perhaps those who think that everything that is wrong with us is RC's fault should take note. Yet another great position squandered by a player!
