Re: Teams Up v Bath
You'd think Bath would have been up for this one. A chance to beat Tigers in their own back yard. To extend the points between the sides and further cement a potential home semi-final. I think Ford will be concerned how they were out muscled. Young George suspect under pressure again. Discipline poo...

Re: Teams Up v Bath
Some classic whinging on the Barf forum, complaining about the referee etc. a couple of observations. There is more than one way to win a rugby game, Bath need to learn that. If it doesn't go their way they just sulk about it. The problem with the referee was that he didn't show a card to Bath in th...

Re: Teams Up v Bath
As usual, the cameras, pundits and hangers-on will be focused on poor Burgess, leaving Tigers to concentrate on winning this game, whatever it takes. They may as well have put him at tight head. Joseph must be wondering what is going on.

Re: Manu out until mid Jan
The whole "how long is a player out for" thing is not great and it's all based on the "best case scenario". The injury itself for example, can normally be given a timeframe for healing, assuming the physios etc have seen that kind of injury before. Say it's a hamstring injury, it...

Re: Sale Away
Oh dear oh dear. Radio saying no game plan, no clue, kicking ball away again and defence is Nin-existent. Every Sale attack seems to have an overlap. The Top 4 could be on the line in the next 40 mins...with 14 men for the first 10 mins.

I'm a Tigers fan living in the West Country. We went to watch Paddington at the cinema yesterday and this young girl walked in with a Saints shirt on !! Even down here you can't get away from it !

Re: Christmas Derby Day at the Gardens
As Ourla says, first 20 is crucial. If we can stay in the game, win a few penalties to get the allotment crowd going then we might just put a doubt in their minds.

Re: Tigers back play -ahem- what back play ???
if you want a pointer on how to turn an ordinary back line into a decent backline, look at Saints under Alex King. Myler has gone from average to in contention for England and the previously pedestrian Pisi brothers are on fire. Ok, North helps and is world class, but Saints are a different prospect...
