Feel sorry for Spencer, best scrum half for me in England. Great kicking game and pass but also has improved his darting runs around the ruck.

Does anyone know if Kalamafoni or Veainu are going to the World Cup?

Re: England v Ireland

Good shift from the Tigers boys, especially Manu, great turnover just now and beast ball in hand. All except Youngs, passing hasn’t been to the man, kicking too far. Do like Cokanasiga, but isn’t very dynamic at this level. For me Nowell or Watson on the right wing. England have picked Ireland apar...

Re: England v Ireland

England have always looked best with Ford and Farrell in tandem. Plus Jones want two playmakers so will always pick two out of Ford, Farrell and Slade. Glad to see Underhill and Curry both start which should give us quick ball to work with. Only weakness is neither known for their lineout work but I...

Re: England WC squad

Only player I’m not sure should be selected is Francis, but seems highly rated by Jones and Saints fans. Hardly like we have loads of 12s putting their hands up for selection. Devoto has been in countless camps but never picked. Te’o not wanted for discipline issues.

Re: Premiership table 2019/20

Top 6 needs to be the aim, but it will be very difficult. Obviously Saracens and Exeter top 2. Arguably Northampton, Gloucester, Sale, Bristol and Harlequins are all in better positions than us currently and further along in their rebuilding process. Going to be tough with no one getting any easy aw...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 1

Assume this would be an injury dispensation for Denton, massive downgrade sadly. Was hoping for Smit personally. Coghlan and this guy haven’t even played much at premiership level. How much experience does a short term squad signing need to have? Thompson didn't have any AP experience before signin...

Don’t think this guy looks like either of the two mentioned names. Looks the same build as Guy Thompson.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 1

I’ll be honest I was hoping for some change in the coaching set up, however, there must have been an element of truth in their excuses for last season. Apparently the pre-season was a joke with hardly any emphasis on fitness or developing a style of play. From game one we were always at as disadvant...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 1

For me if we don’t sign anyone else, Coghlan has the most to prove. Thompson proved his class last year. However, other flankers like Willis and Hill have shown that young backrowers need to have their game time managed given the attritional nature of their position so Reffell needs to be carefully ...
