Re: New Supporters Forum?

Any ideas as to whom the club selected to be on this Forum? I was wondering the same thing, appears to have gone very silent on this. You would’ve expected some of the “new offerings” that Andrea has been emailing about might’ve been discussed with the new forum as it’s supposed to represent a cros...

Re: International Eligibility

A player could technically be entitled to represent 4 nations if the Grandparents rule continues. Technically based on it you can represent 7 countries based on just grandparents. Say Grandparent A born in England Grandparent B born in South Africa Grandparent C born in New Zealand Grandparent D bo...

Re: Tigers v Gloucester - Premiership Cup Final - Friday 15th March 2024 - KO:7-45pm

I was going to buy tickets but have just given up because of what I can only descibe as a ludicrous booking system on the Gloucester Website. The system insists on you registering but as I was trying to book multiple tickets including ones at Senior and Junior prices it refused to let me complete t...

Re: Trailfinders a sad indictment of rugby

As I say too much negativity, it can't be done, it is inevitable, most people don't want to watch/understand rugby type attitude. Mistakes have been made in the past - let's learn from them. It's important to understand the strength of other clubs is important to us as our health is to them. Being ...

Should the club take the Saudi money, that could keep prices down? :smt017

Re: Wasps revival???

Just received the following email from Wasps - I joined a group to keep track of what was happening. What does everyone think? Wasps continues its substantial efforts to return the men's and women's teams to the highest level possible of performance rugby. In October 2023 we outlined the 3 pillars ...

Re: Next seasons season ticket

Looking on here and on social media, as a terrace dweller it appears I have been a lucky one with a 23% increase!! I expected the worst following the email from Andrea with the list of excuses before the announcement which was good communication but followed swiftly by the poor communication of not...

Re: Leicester Tigers Women 2023/24 - Vicky Macqueen in 'The Magnificent Fifteen'

Does anyone know when they will announce the information about Season Tickets for the women’s team. As I’ve had a dual season ticket this year have attended about 50% of the women’s games and really enjoyed it, but have a bad feeling getting both (as no dual ST available) may be cost prohibitive ne...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Years ago if the ball fell off the tee, the kicker could ask the ref if he could replace it, should the clock be stopped if this happens, force majeure?

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Agree backrow is unbalanced. But I actually think Roots could be the sort of no.6 England need. In that SA mould what Ewers used to be for Exeter, a more physical carrier where we can look to dominate opposition packs. Best no.7 is being played out of position. Get him at openside and then literall...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

It has always been quite common for blind side flanker to also play 8, even at international level. It is not unusual for locks to play at 6, not all can do it but many can, Martin is certainly one who could make the change, whether he should is a different matter. Certainly a pack with Montoya, Ch...

Re: England A v Portugal - MWWR - 25th February 2024

I think there is a genuine risk this could be embarrassing, and people are going to feel short-changed. Those in the know warned about the likely lack of strength that Portugal would be able bring in the middle of a tournament, in a slot where clubs are not obligated to release players. Yet still, ...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

England were very poor again today in most departments, SB has nothing to lose now I really feel he has to change his gameplan. He was trained by Jones, he has inherited his style and its based on FHs like Ford and Farrell, both kicking fly halves. We just dont seem to be able to develop a running g...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

George Martin our next No 8 anyone? I think his tackling is best suited to a back row, he is quite mobile and bulky and Im sure he could replace Weise and leave 2 x Chessums at lock.
