I spoke to Johne in a pub in Leicester (honestly) about whether he could play 10.
This was during the world cup just before the SA v England game (1st round).
He said:
"oi haaven't ployed staaand arrf since I were a wee nipper"
or words to that effect.

It certainly wasn't Goode's decision to kick for 3.
I saw him indicate to the bench that he wanted to go for the corner and someone over ruled him.
It was clear in the warm up that he didn't have his kicking boots on, so this was a very poor decision.
Thankfully it did not cost us the game.

If they weren't locked people would complain too.

The thing is we don't really need Tait as we have cover at 13 (Erinle, Seru, Hipkiss) and 15 (G.Murphy, J Murphy, Vesty)
Whereas we do not have much cover at 10 (Goode, Vesty?) or 12 (Mauger)
So IF we have signed Flood he certainly fits into the squad better.
