Re: Venter gets 14 week touchline ban

What a cop-out by the RFU.Just like FA are with Sir Alex.To soft for to long. The RFU will find it comes back to haunt them.Sorry but ban should be in SEASON TIME not out of season. Not worth any more comment. Will lead to free for all if not punished harder.

Re: Barnes handed Heineken task

Broardstaff, welcome to the site and thank you for stating exactly what i did a few months ago. You are so right about to much knocking of the refs. To many people seem to think they can take cheap shots at the Referee of the day, even carrying forward there views for months and months.I got slagged...

Re: 2 Heineken Cup Final Tickets for sale

Just a suggestion. If not able to sell quickly why not do the following? Put the tickets on ebay and state that any profit goes to LOROS HOSPIS in Leicester. If no ebay account i would do it for you and pay the listing fee as well.

Re: The duff ref list gets longer!

I am well aware that at most places referee escorted off pitch by stewards. But today he was singled out by the stewards and away off the pitch within seconds of the end. It looked odd as players shaking hands etc for sometime later but referee long gone.

Re: The duff ref list gets longer!

Yes Bill i know about his apointment to the Int/board. Was responding to another posting. I really am a supporter of the refs/officials as without them it would be chaos as it is a dificult job to do.With reference to talking to the ref i was surprised that on one occasion Murphy hardly said a word ...

Re: The duff ref list gets longer!

I was trying to be kind by saying biased. As an ex referee i find it very hard to accuse someome of something. BUT todays performance at times was a joke.

Re: The duff ref list gets longer!

Fine, but how the hell do they miss it under there nose? Also Small might just have been appointed but any referee who performs like he did today and is then escorted off the pitch by stewards at the end like he was will not last long. That will be noticed higher up and delt with. Just like the premi...

Re: The duff ref list gets longer!

Bill, as you know i am not one to have a go at the referee. BUT todays ref was either way out of his depth or dare i say it more than biased? I would opt for out of his depth hoping that he will learn big time from todays performance.I would think he might not be around next season unless he sorts h...

Re: Barnes handed Heineken task

In reply to BILL W (2) i assume you include the Tigers in the list of teams committing the offences? So many fans seem to think that we are little angles and get upset when WE get caught out! Did you see at last game in warm up, after Quinns left pitch, Cockers formed a false scrum front row and got...

Re: Barnes handed Heineken task

Here you all go again knocking the referee.I commented on the booing of Wayne Barnes BEFORE he came on the pitch at Tigers a few weeks ago. Get off his and other Ref's backs. You do not get to Ref a European Cup Final if you are as bad as certain Tigers fans make out.He is a good ref who gives it his...

To you all on this thread may i add the following.I was the person who was offended. After the topic disappeared i have tried to get a, sight of what was said after my last posting which lead to the thread being removed and b, for action to be taken against the person who was personal towards both my...

Re: State of the pitch

Have to say that the condition of the pitch is very good considering we have just had the coldest and worst conditions for at least 25 years.Well done to the ground staff for giving us a game to enjoy.Rather than moan about how short or long the grass is be positive. At least we get to see our games...

Re: Quick question - supporter's evening?

To hww27. Have read a lot of the above and have to say that we attended last months evening. We did not see or experience any of the above. My daughter bought me a ticket for an Xmas present. We arrived at 6 45pm on possibly the coldest night of the month.Upon entering the stand the heat hit us and we ...

All to often the same people hi-jack a senisble discusion with stupid type comments and icons. When i first started writing on these pages i was slagged off by the same people for having a view, which in the end was accepted and seen as the truth. A statement was made that Tigers are always given a h...
