Re: England unravelling
I would say there are only two or 3 players who are rock solid certainties for selection - Cole, Parling and Manu. The only other relative certainties are Farrell & Ben Youngs but that would be a big ask for the former and YBY is a bit of a hothead at times. It is hard to skipper from the front ...

Re: London Welsh to be relegated?
A professional rugby club that employs staff - be they players, groundsmen or bar staff is subject to the same laws that apply to any other employer.

Re: Now is that true, English stadiae
I would erect temporary stands in any big park rather than play world cup matches outside of England.

Re: Lions selection
England's scrum woes were at loose head so I don't think Cole or Youngs will have been harmed.

Quite so Tigerburnie - probably why their punishment was so light.

Re: England unravelling
If England don't win the Grand slam I wonder if what the fall out will be? Robshaw has to show he is true international 7. If not he could become the next Phil De Glanville - top bloke - good captain but keeping better players out of the side. In my near 40+ years of playing and watching sport I can...

Re: London Welsh to be relegated?
I think they got away with it lightly. It looks like the powers that be felt it to be the blame of an individual more than the club as a whole so were relatively lenient. However they still have to accept the punishment for their lack of corporate governance. Unfortunate but if the club doesn't get ...

Re: Todays international matches
To be fair the ref warned Scotland after they had twice charged without the ref calling "engage" leaving the ref with little option. The Wales pack were marginally more subtle they didn't go quite as early, however the ref should have given them a similar warning and regularly failed to pi...

Re: England unravelling
The competition at 7 will be crucial for England and for Robshaw's chances of a Lions berth so he will have to play out of his skin. SL's choice to play Robshaw and not a specialist 7 may well come back to haunt him as Wales will target this by playing both Tipperic and Warburton if Ryan Jones is u...

Re: England unravelling
Not sure I would stick with Flood - his kicking out of hand remains a liability both for Tigers and internationally. He simply does not get the ball off the park with the consistency required to control a competitive international - time and time again at Tigers we kick away hard fought possession &...

Re: England unravelling
Let's hope that Morgan is fit to play 8 and Wood can return to 6 as Haskell again showed he is at best a bench player. Agree that Haskell should not start but Wood is doing a good job at 8. Bring Croft in at 6 for a back row of Croft, Robshaw and Wood. Not sure Croft is ready for the Wales back row...

Re: England unravelling
I fear the loose head is an issue - neither Vunipola or Marler can scrummage. Playing 2 full backs is flawed, especially when they play the better of them on the wing. Barritt lacks the distribution skills to make use of Manu and the wings. Care demonstrated he's an impact sub not a game controlling...

Re: England team's up!
I'm pleased that Vunipola has been selected at loose head - the Italian pack is impressive and if fit Castro would likely munch Marler in the scrum. It's probably a good idea to rest YBY - he'll be needed for a much bigger game in Cardiff and the Flood-Youngs half back combo is established enough no...

Re: Use of Subs
Ideally we should go back to using subs only for injured players but the vetting of injuries is next to impossible even for a Dr so perhaps the current set up is at least fair to all sides. Although a prop who has got the upper hand of his opposite number might not think it too fair! The use of subs...
