There is only one set of officials for a match. If one side can 'infringe' the laws without incurring the wrath of the referee then surely by deduction they are not infringing those laws. Therefore if one side can 'play' the officlals why does it seem that we are incapable of doing so equally succes...

I think the ruck has been poorly ref'd for years. Frequently hit illegally as discussed in this thread along with players not bound to the ruck being taken out.
