Re: Teams up v Bath

I don't get it. In the build up to the restart there was a lot of positivity about SB's arrival and what it holds for the club. He picked this team from what he's seen in training. Lets trust him for at least a couple of games. We exceeded most neutrals predictions vs Exeter... Front row. Not out an...

Re: Teams up v Bath

[quote=sapajo post_id=749765 time=1598021492 user_id=9379] How times have changed, there was a time when Tigers always set out to win their home games, no matter who the opposition, crowd or no crowd, 11th or not. I can understand the desire to give the youngsters a chance but frankly I do not think...

Re: Tigers and new partner "yodel"

I have to say that any company using yodel, has got to be desperate or very stupid. Personally, if I see a company who I want something from used yodel, I go elsewhere. Not once have they delivered what I ordered to my house, on time and in one piece. So, its a no from me to getting anything from t...

Re: Next week

I'm hoping we see a mix of experience and youngsters in both games rather than first XV and second XV. Something like: 1.Genge 2.Youngs (c) 3.Heyes 4.Lavanini 5.Wells 6.Lewis 7.Wallace 8.Taufua 9.White 10.Ford 11.Olowofela 12.Hardwick 13.Taute 14.Potter 15.Steward 1.Leatigaga 2.Kerr 3.Cole 4.Green ...

Re: Team for Exeter

Random question Are we wearing the new kit, or is that being saved till the new season. I'm guessing we'll still be in the Kukri kit as it's still that season, though I guess it's down to what the contract states is it dates or is it seasons? I notice they're just wearing the new stuff in practice n...

Back 3 running on fumes.
Interestingly 3 back rows (1 is a development squad member) on the bench meaning he's cover for the 2nd row too, looks like our back row is being given license to put it all out there and be explosive

Plus Brink & Weise to add in to the mix soon too.

Backrow looks a real strength now if the players gel nicely.

Re: New Salary Cap Investigation

This could lead to an interesting situation. If a second team is found guilty how do you deal with it? Do you relegate 2 teams at the end of the season and promote 2? That would leave an awkward position with the proposed ring fencing as only one of the teams could come back up. The other team coul...

Re: New Salary Cap Investigation

Assuming this is genuine Which season does this relate to? If there's something from a season or two ago that's come to light I would be looking at clubs that have offloaded a lot of players. A club like Wasps let a lot of big name players go in the last couple of years, them being broke may be a sy...

15. Worth 14. Potter 13. Taute 12. Scott 11. Nadolo 10. Ford 9. White 1. Genge 2. Youngs 3. Cole 4. Lavannini 5. Enever 6.Taufua 7. Reffell 8. Liebenberg Nearly full strength would just like to one or two readied for the midweek games, so think I'd aim to split Ford and Youngs up so there is an expe...

Re: Provisional Premiership Return Date ?

Looking like crowds at stadia is going to be sometime off, how this affects the finances is very worrying. Would be nice for some free TV games. Do we know when or if the shop will open in the flesh so to speak? Free TV games would be nice, they managed with the round ball to get some free to air g...

Re: Ringfencing almost upon us ?

Sporting in schools is on the decrease as it is, a problem is funding and government attidudes but I think also a lot of people’s motivation came from having half the school day off when playing matches which doesn’t really happen now... Since the late 90's at least school's have been losing their ...

Re: Ringfencing almost upon us ?

I just don't like 13 (or any odd number of teams in a league) rest weeks combined with international windows means some clubs will have internationals for more of their games. Even if the cup were to be dramatically reduced to balance fixtures in the league I think a 14 team would make so much more...
