I have always been a fan of Flood. He needs to be more consistent with his kicking. I'd like to see his goal kicking stats for the games this season. Think he's only missed one in the last 2 home games and not many of those were a 'gimme' from 20 yards in front of posts. Kicking from hand is diffic...

upthecats

Gate was referring to David Humphreys, not his younger brother Ian.

As for ROG, I've always felt he had a very high opinion of himself. An opinion I've not always shared.

Those that are good enough will undoubtedly be picked on form, along with the other members of the squad. I'm sure that there are 22 players in the 16 to 18 age group who may all be picked in 6 years time. However I'd be surprised (but delighted)if they would be capable of winning the GP and or Hein...

Re: Toby Flood - Just give him time

I think we all need o remember that this is Toby's first season as first chice 10 and without the specter of JW hanging rround his next. He is young and relatively inexpereiced at being the main man....I am confident he will grow into the role and have a great future at club and international level...

Impressive debut - particularly when you consider that he's only had 3 days training with players and coaches that he's probably never met before. Pleasant little article on front site page http://www.tigers.co.uk/29_12757.php With him plus our 2 Murphys and Matt Smith, I think it's not only Sam Ves...

With White, Blaze, Corry and Hipkiss (amongst ohers) on the bench.

I'm sure there's others, but it is a Sunday.

EDIT

Knew there was.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the French league has dealt with this. I think they effectively say that if you get to the situation where you don't have a front row player to bring on then tough, you play without & move to uncontested scrums. ... The French also now have a 'match day...

is it gonna be hour and a half every sunday?

I read somewhere (but can't remember where) that the program will be an hour and a half for the first two weeks only. After that it'll be an hour long each week for the rest of the season.

Thanks for the support guys. However, I'm sure we'll get some flak. Let us not go down the road of discussion on children running loose in pubs otherwise we'll be here till the cows come home (and off-topic). Congrats on your 1000th post Trouty. :smt113 No problem BJ. It's a topic that seems to com...

With the news on the Mauger 'a doubt' for Sunday... thread http://tinyurl.com/5rmy52 and the continued unavailability of Rabeni and Hougaard, HM has little room for manoevre at 10, 12, 13. I wouldn't particularly want to see the combination of Flood, Hipkiss, Smith too often. But given the extremely...
