Re: World Cup Ticket Failure

I just wanted to point out that excluding the England matches tickets are available for the majority of games including all quarter finals on the official website. Yep. Just went to have a look for what was left for Tonga v Argentina. At £115 I'll pass. Just trying to be helpful. What you pay or do...

Re: Advice on travelling to welford road for Munster game

Hi Jazzmundo, have always found Club Taxi's to be one of the most reliable. I would think if you have a prearranged pick up location and leave before the rush you should be ok. I assume you can check in up to 30 mins before the flight? If you explain to Club, they will hopefully put one of their 'qu...

Re: World cup tickets

You don't seem to understand my point but trust me it is a farce... Congrats on getting tickets though :smt023 You have made several points and I wasn't trying to respond to any of them. I was simply trying to say that it worked for me and inform others of that experience and that they may want to ...

Re: World cup tickets

As advertised further tickets went on sale today at 12 noon for the knock out stages for those who had been unsuccessful in previous ballots. I joined the queue at 11.45, got in at around 12.20 and purchased quarter and semi final tickets. At that stage tickets were available for all knock out games...

Re: 14 years ago today.

Great day, great slightly blurred memories! We were also drinking on the roundabout with a mass of Tigers and Stade fans just outside the ground. Went back into Paris, no recollection of how we got there. Finished up drinking Cognac with a rather well to do French gentleman in a bar just off the Cha...

Re: Exeter - why??

One Premiership win and not even close in europe over the last four years, these may be good players, but I'd like to be controversial and say not good enough. Time to move on to hopefully better things.

Thats not to take anything away from the great contribution all three have made to Tigers.

Re: Salary Cap Investigation - Transparency???

Fairly straightforward for me with the writing being on a number of walls across Europe. Take a look at soccer's premier league and that is where rugby will be in a few short years. Three or four teams with any chance on winning it based purely on the size of their checkbook, the rest also ran's. Th...

Re: Matt Smith - about time for recognition

I couldn't agree more. Matt Smith was the perfect example yesterday of why you should play a centre at centre. Matt has his shortcomings but gives everything to the cause. A true old school Tiger which I fear is a dying breed. I thought the Tigers defence was superb against Exeter and the contributi...

Re: I'm confused, are you?

Quite rightly we all have our individual opinions around the comings and goings and whether this is good or bad. I think its a case of we are where we are for whatever reasons. I like to take a broad view and in my opinion settled teams win things. I think this is particularly true in rugby. Look at...

Re: 11,040 attendance

Well if you ever feel the need to be insulted, patronised or be told how best to live your life this forum is the place to be. I'm devastated that for more years than I care to mention I haven't attended every single Tigers game or chosen to have Mothers Day in August. I was in Llanelli and Belfast ...

Re: Sale home now saturday

I was bringing 3 friends with me on Friday night for their first experience of live rugby at Welford Road. Fortunately they have all been able to rearrange things and attend on the Saturday. Like others I waited until the TV schedules had been agreed with Premiership Rugby as I'm well aware of the r...

Re: Times Up!

Against my better judgement I've decided to contribute to the topic. I don't usually enter this type of debate as there are too many people eager to put people down for expressing their opinion. I'm in the camp with a few of the previous posters, while I am reluctant to overly criticise and have fai...
