How Mallinder can look at himself in the mirror? The above link speaks volumes about the idiocy of Voldermort.

Re: Sell Outs

It's weird that so many of the empty seats were in the overpriced padded seats in the centre of the clubhouse stand. And yet a sell out. Why is that? But anyway, a sell out on a Sunday. Maybe it's not so bad on a Sunday after all? Probably watching the game from in the bar under the halogen heaters...

Gloucester Sugar Daddy

Picked this up from the Shedweb site, could explain how funding for Morgan and Fearns is happening? http://www.rugb.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4883 This has been done to death on other threads, but it is going to become increasingly difficult to remain competitive in pay stakes. In the past...

Re: Sell Outs

I have posted this link before, someone in Gloucester has more time on their hands than I do! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ioXlvhkawAGq08_U-Bynr69j_xExMo01bEk_7lHQ6wY/htmlview#gid=1852315987 It's interesting in a number of ways, this last weekend, Tigers accounted for 33.1% of the total a...

Re: Manu Tuilagi

BBC Radio Leicester have tweeted " Manu Tuilagi and Mike Williams are expected to be available in time for the Premiership clash with Harlequins on 20th November." Manu expected but astonished by the speed of Mike Williams recovery. Just hope they are not being rushed back to soon given t...

Re: Whats the purpose of our Academy

Agreed, since the game has become professional and players are earning their living from the game, there will without doubt be increased movement between clubs as they have to be self promoting to earn. There will be many reasons why movement takes place, cash, opportunity, personality issues etc. I...

Re: Whats the purpose of our Academy

Having read the previous posts I think it's worth putting stuff into perspective, any level of sport works on a basic pyramid system. There will always be more players at the bottom and less at the elite level, simple mathematics doesn't allow an automatic elevation through the ranks. This coupled w...

Re: Does anyone seriously think we can escape the group?

At least after yesterday, the outcome albeit a significant challenge (and it always was!) is in our hands, win every game and it's done, we are at this point not reliant on others falling over. Whether we will or not, really not sure, if we had a string of games with similar performance and intensit...

Sky v BT TV coverage

One thing that clearly shows during European weekends is the gulf between these two broadcasters. I was sceptical when BT first took over, but the content far far exceeds that of Sky. It is a while since I last watched a game covered by Sky given they only cover non AVIVA games, Pro12, Championship ...

Re: Have we ever sold out the 'new' ground

On TV, last day of half term in Leicester, clashes with Poldark, Strictly results etc. Not really a surprise. The schedule for the European games is spread over three days and staggered for TV purposes, so it's a bit of a lottery! However, from the games on TV over the last two rounds, there appears...
