Re: Tigers v Bristol (A) - Premiership - Friday 13th October 2023 - KO:19:45

Ahhhh, I’ve missed all the moaning, how longs it been, 16 weeks? We were poor, for the first 60. Atkinson continues to look low on confidence. Playing a preseason game last week against Bedford would have made no difference whatsoever. Is it time to start saying McKellar was a clueless appointment?...

Re: Tigers vs Newcastle (H) - Prem Rugby Cup - Saturday 30th September 2023 KO 3pm

4 of the kicks were from practically the same place. Atkinsons confidence from the tee was shot after the 2nd, you can see it. He looks great with ball in hand though, surely you get a specialist coach in and just have him heavily focusing on kicking. You can’t win prems with his kicking percentages...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

To answer the question on Williams' contract, he told the media in the press conference last week he was here until October. Excellent. More concrete than unofficial rumour then. :smt001 Personally my main issue with Williams is he still bounces into contact and ends up going down very quickly, jus...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

World Cup players.are not expected to be available until mid November, so plenty of time to regain fitness for a club unless it is a very major injury and we have no reason to suppose that. Absolutely. If he has signed for us Englands loss could be our gain. Better for Tigers that he gets injured a...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

If Watson hasn't signed a contract yet, he is now nicely up the creek. If he hasn’t signed anything, anywhere, I’d say deservingly so. A bit harsh. He has every right to get the best deal possible for him and his family.Would like to keep him but not at any cost as we may be able to get a World Cup...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

It’s all well and good being us but imagine the hoohah if it was a Sarries player who was getting paid by England and then helping their salary cap, there would be uproar on here! What have other clubs said? I’d imagine it hasn’t gone down well. I suppose he’s out of contract though so there’s not m...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

Personally, I think this confirms (without confirming) he’s signed for us. There is no way someone as injury prone as Watson would go in to a World Cup without having the other side tied up. One injury and he has nothing. He gets paid by the RFU and then we pay him the later part of the season with ...

I think it’ll be Sarries and Sale top 2 again, I think we’ll be top 4. Not sure about the rest.
