Re: International Eligibility
I think I agree grandparent rule should go. Country of birth, nationality of parent plus 5 year residency with citizenship should do the job. I do think a full cap for any country should mean not playing for a second country but it dies seem a little unfair that a young player maybe gifted a few min...

Re: New Supporters Forum?
The questions raised at open forums were definitely not previously vetted nor were the questioners plants. Obviously there were occasions when concerns had been expressed publicly by many and the club knew and were prepared for the question but they did not know who would raise the matter of to wher...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
Personally if Tigers are thinking of recruiting a new backs/attack coach I would not be disappointed if Catt joined us.

Re: Next seasons season ticket
Long term season ticket holders have got their name on the boards in the Final Whistle. Of course they may be obscured by big screen or something but they are there.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
Can't blame anyone for wanting to go home. I was just defending the city of my birth and the surrounding area. I went to Primary School ( Avenue Rd) in the Clarendon Park area, it is a little more lively now than it was then.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
Leicestershire and Rutland have many areas of beauty, plenty of decent restaurants and pubs. The only thing we do not have is proximity to the coast. Our house prices are considerably lower than in the London area. As a rugby club we have a fine tradition, large crowds and we play on grass. Our trai...

Re: Next seasons season ticket
There have been comments suggesting people should not raise difficulties receiving information from the club on this messageboard. The benefit of doing that is that it reveals that others experience the same problem. I have as far as I am aware received all.emails sent to.me by the club but I do kno...

Re: Next seasons season ticket
As I said earlier if it is a one off charge I accept it although as my D/D was set up years ago I fail to see where the charge comes in, if it is a monthly charge on top of a large increase in percentage terms particularly when offering far less in return, fewer matches, no A League etc matter beyon...

Re: Next seasons season ticket
Tiglon is happy that they are putting prices up in order for us to remain competitive, sounds good but the trick is to increase revenue, if higher ticket prices means fewer renewals the net result maybe a loss of income. As a Direct debit customer i have received a notification thanking me for renew...

Re: Trailfinders a sad indictment of rugby
Rugbygramps is correct that things do evolve, he is a relatively new supporter having missed the skills of Phil HorrocksTaylor etc but yes we no longer have a Nissan hut, or a welding company under our wooden stand. Regrettably there is no Barbarians match at Christmas and players are now full time ...

Re: Next seasons season ticket
That actually is quite a competitive price, there are cheaper grounds but there are certainly more expensive. I also am category 4, this is a big increase but we have not had an increase for a few years due in part to lockdown and there being no matches. My first thought was that this is too great a...

Re: Trailfinders a sad indictment of rugby
The reason why there is a negative reaction to Rugbygramps suggestion of regional teams is simply Wales. Forcing the amalgamation.of historic clubs with their closest rivals destroyed.many of them and did no favours for Welsh rugby. Ireland in contrast always had regional teams so for them mo amalga...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
It has always been quite common for blind side flanker to also play 8, even at international level. It is not unusual for locks to play at 6, not all can do it but many can, Martin is certainly one who could make the change, whether he should is a different matter. Certainly a pack with Montoya, Che...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
I have seen Louis Chessum play a few times and he is definitely if fit a lock for the future, Chessington x 2 plus Henderson & Martin backed by Wells would give us a fine group of locks. For me Illione is an eight and when studies are complete will challenge anyone for that position. Reffell is ...
